Overpayment!
I was paying the minimum payment on my credit card because I did not have any interest charges for one year, I schedule to pay in full by the due date, but for some reason didn't go thru, so I call the same day and made the payment over the phone, and they assured me that my balance was zero, that I don't have to worry about any more, but the next month the payment went thru and they took the full amount from my checking acc, I call customer service to complain about it, and I demanded my money back, but first they try to convince me that I have credit on my cc, which I can use it any time, I request my money back in my checking acc, but they refuse to do it, saying they will send the check over the mail, which will take long time to process, and my checking acc is charge overdraft fee,

Illegal payment practice
I just submitted a complaint about car repair bills that were financed by GE Money Bank. I forgot to mention that their policy on the back of their statement states that even if the payment is mailed to an incorrect office it will be posted within 5 days. The branch manager of the credit union read them their statement and basically they said they can only post the check if they received it. He read the return receipt to them and they said they did not receive the cashiers check and so it could not have been posted to our account and that is that.

Rude and continuous calls
Calls come 5 or more times a day. Caller refuses to identify themself or their company. All callers are rude. When asked to remove our number from the list, one said, "These calls will keep coming until you give us the information."

Lost payment!
Lost my payoff payment of my account totaling $2239.76. Cashed it and now says they can't find it. Noone to talk to to get any satisfaction.

Fraudulent charges!
My credit card that I signed up fro at PC Richard & Son store and issued by GE Money Bank was lost be the bank they send it to me and it was lost in the mail or send to the wrong address. It fell in the wrong hands and used to make fraudulent purchases in NJ. I disputed the amounts that were made with hat card, however GE Money Bank decided to resolve it in merchant favor, even though I provided the with all the proof the need to show that it was not me who made those charges. GE Money is trying to make me pay for the fraudulent transaction and becoming a part of this scam.

Detailed personal information given!
I applied for a PayPal Plus Credit card through the PayPal website. I was given the number 1 866 300 6432 to call to complete the credit application. I called and provided the service rep ( joe) with all of my personal credit information. I was then informed that I was declined for their card and would receive an explanation in 30 days. I asked why I was declined because I have an A+ credit history. I also expressed great concern that I had just provided him with all my personal credit information and that now I was concerned about who I was really in contact with. He gave me the number to PayPal 1 866 837 1895.
Have I just committed financial suicide? I have been reading all of the complaints on this bank GE Money bank and I am extremely paranoid at the moment!

Unsolicited phone calls!
Ge money bank has called me 4 times and woke me up every time, 8:15am, to try to collect a debt on my son, he is a"jr", who hasn't lived here for three years. I've given the hindi that calls his phone number, and yet they still call. I've told them every time he doesn't live here, yet they insist on calling me.

Harassing phone calls!
GE Money Bank has called my cell phone over a dozen times in the last few weeks. Prior to that they called about twice a month. Apparently someone has given my cell phone number as their own and the individual in question owes GE Money Bank some money for a credit card purchase. They refuse to understand I am not the individual they are looking for and insist on continuing to call my cell phone despite the fact that I have told them who I am, where I live, etc. Of course when they search my information they find I am not the person they are looking for and it is a mistake. But the calls continue. I use my cell phone when I am out of my house and do not give it as my telephone contact number. How do I get these jackals to stop calling? How can I find a corporate address for GE Money Bank? I want to file a complaint with the company as these callers have no clue and don't get it.

Unwarranted calls!
I receive two to three calls daily from GE Money Bank asking for some person I've never heard of. I tell them every time they call that no one by that name is at this phone number and not to call again. Every day they call again. I've never even heard of their company.

Reversed payment for no reason other than extra fees!
After sending in my first payment of $15 dollars, I received a call stating that my payment was behind. My payment had been reversed supposedly returned from my bank as "account not found". This account is over 20 years old! When checking with my bank I got a copy of the CLEARED check (front and back with their endorsement) and faxed it to them asking that the situation be resolved. I still received another call 2 days later. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was conveniently disconnected. (He called me - why didn't he just call me back?)
I called them back and finally got to speak with a supervisor. She said I should go ahead and make another payment so my account wouldn't go to collections, because the research I sent them could take 1-2 billing cycles to correct!!!
Meanwhile they've charged me a $29 late fee (that wasn't late) and a $29 returned check fee (that was never returned). This is still in dispute, so I hope it gets resolved quickly, but I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use GE Money Bank or Care Credit again!
When I googled GE Money Bank I was stunned at how many similar complaints have been made!
