rate higher
Request credit to buy motorcycle and when receipt the collection, the interest is enormous compared with the one that the sellers said to me
The rate of interest is very high, and tendre that for the payments of my debt,
I wanted to proceed with a rate of credit low, to expire with my debt
I need that they help me, do not have work and want to continue paying

high rates, no telephone contact numbers, bad customer service
Typical of the ongoing trend of poor or non-existant Customer Service and the insistance by countless large companies that customers not be able to contact them directly, this company does not list Customer Service numbers in their written communications.
An internet search leads to a number (1866-869-4671) which is, as expected, an automated prompt system. Once you are finally able to get to the "please wait to be connected to an agent" message, you will be on hold for 20-45 minutes, depending on your luck.
This company in particular charges obscene interest rates and "service" fees, and is one of the most aloof and arrogant of the growing number of organizations that, despite making huge profits from people, treat them with no respect at all.

unauthorized money/credit score
i was 18 when i got a GE card because i was having dental work done and couldnt pay it in full so i thought if i got a GE card it would help my credit buil up and be easier payments...WRONG! i am now 23 and am still having trouble with them. the balance on the card was $200 that i charged to the dentist company and after i paid off the $200 i told them to close the account i no longer needed it. about a year later i get numerous bills from them and it went up to $3000.00 from late charges and fees. i called the company and they told me i charged $1000.00 to the dentist when it was really only $200. they argued with me so i printed off the payments and mailed it to them. they still argued. so i called the dentist office and come to find out the GE company sent them an even $1000.00 to credit my dentist account! i told them i had not agreed to that and why in the world would i let someone take extra money that i have to pay for??? so i told them they will need to contact the dentist office and get the money back and credit that to my account and make sure it is closed! still has not been done. they told me they would make a settlement of $1500.00 and i got so tired of dealing with them bc my credit was being so messed up and. i paid them the amount and had checked my score today which has been two years since i have paid them and it still shows i owe them $1500.i went from a 700 score to 490!!! i am furious. i have called numerous times and they tell me my account is closed and its a zero balance but thats not what it says on my credit account! i need something done. change of terms no notice
I have a fixed loan that I took out almost 3 years ago. I agreed to accept online statements (which I still have never received so much as one). My payments for 2.5 years were 162. and change. I have set into my ebillpay for 163.00 8 days before the payment is due each month. July 31 I received a call form their collections dept. telling me that I have accumulated 1000 in late fees and need to settle immediately. Some time in January they raised my min due to 175 and never told me about the increase. They offered to take the balance in full (with a 200 dollar savings to me!!!) They would take the 3882 out on the 14 of August. Well now its the 19 of August and they have not taken the money out. I have called the 800number everyday since monday, and they keep telling me they will take it out soon, What game are they playing? They want the money so bad why are they not taking it? Are they trying to wait untill next month to charge me more late fees my payment should have been due on the 15 of August. This company is a scam, is this legal what they are doing?

IDENTITY THEFT FRAUD
They have my information SOMEHOW as I am a victim of Identity theft, in which a credit card has been opened in my name. I owe thousands and my credit report is trashed! GE MONEY BANK refuses to do anything about any of this until I pay, as 'I gave them the information and opened the account'
"Ma'am, I just told you I DID NOT OPEN THIS ACCOUNT. DO YOU KNOW THE DEFINITION OF IDENTITY THEFT?"
"Yes ma'am, I am working in the fraud department"
"Really? I thought you just said you were customer service?"

mutal agreement 1 x payment .
It was agreed by me & ge in a recorded phone conversation I would pay a 1 time settlement fee of $ 775. & I would owe nothing &the account would be closed.

Awful experience
I authorized a payment for $1, 129.00 on May 26th of 2009 via the GE Online Service website. I have come to learn that my actions of "Auto Pay" did not initiate an instant automatic payment, but change the settings on the “monthy” automatic payment. The option for single payments was then removed from my account summary navigation options. My authorization of payment was made 22 days before the end of the promotional period on June 17th of 2009. An automatic payment was processed on June 10th but was not the $1, 129 I had setup on May 26th. The payment was not processed until after the promotion end date and for much more than I authorized, including incurred finance charges as well as other fees. The online payment system is not intuitive nor conventional, it's design is misleading be it intentionally or unintentionally. I was promised that any fees and finance charges associated with my GE Money account would be waived if I made a payment of $1, 129.00 immediately by phone. The payment had been made. GE Money did not honor it's end of the agreement. The fees have not been waived and no record of that promise has been kept by GE Money. In summary: * I was promised the account be settled in exchange for $1, 129. This did not happen. * The online payment system is misleading giving GE Money a maximum of nearly 2 months before payment is processed while the option to make one time payments was removed from my online account summary navigation options.

high interest,difficulty paying online
I had to have my car serviced, and they financed me through Ge money bank. My first two payments they sent to the wrong address. they finally called, i gave them the correct address, but still had to pay late fees. i have been paying online with geonline, but when i tried this month, it came up wrong password or user name, both of which i typed in correctly 3 times with the same results. I'm really disgusted with ford for using this company. someone does need to do something about them!!!

Piss POOR Service?lock out& few that speak ENGLISH
Online loan payment, ?, straighten out bill payment, late fee ALL good till next time {month later) payment reversal ;money there but, payed on account reversed & don't forget the late FEE.Even after talking to a forgien rep.RESOLVED??HA HA Guess didn't understand ENGLISH.It took HSBC, my bill pay account to finally give me some insight as to what the F... is going on OR NOT GOING ON...OR into PAY'N MY lOAN...i'M soooooo SORRY, I ever got involved with the financial institution by the name of GE MONEY BANK .., , ., ..If I ever hoped to build a decient credit rating ge money bank looks more like NERO!!!TOXIC STAY A WAY .../////Is there anybody out there that can help? CLASS ACTION...??????...DISTRESSED PETER

Cheating customers
GE Money Bank is the financial institute of my CareCredit Card. They changed the minimum payment and moved up the due date without informing me. I just found out in March 2009 when the GE Money called me that my account was delinquent becuase my minimum $29 was not enough to cover their late fee $39 and finance charge of $26 every month. I found out that they have been grossly charge me $60 a month on financial charge ($35 late fee + $25 interest 29.99% apr) for over 2 years without my knowledge. Non of my $29 (except for the first 2 months) applied towards the principle.
In 2007, my dog need urgent care at SF SPCA on 6/26/07, the staff told me that CareCredit Card has no finance charge. My charge was $1, 066.68. The first 2 statement were consistance, minimum due $29, due date 21st on each month. S0 I set up autopayment plan of $29 on every 20th of each month, thinking that in 37 months, $29 x 37 months, I'll pay off my dog's medical bill. GE Money moved the due date to 19th so that they can charge me late fee. This is not interest fee card either, they charge average from 29.99% to 23% apr.
