I am contacting you in referrence to GE Money Bank. I have had an account with GE due to a furniture purchase about 2yrs ago. i was set up on a special plan with no interest for 12 months. i have made pymts as best i could. now due to the interest added the amount has been changed and i cannot "catch" up. if i am correct the company stated that no other plan can be offered to me to help. i have since closed the account. i still owe the debt and i send $76.00 to them every month. i have been late a couple of times but i have called and tried to make good with my payments as i can. all i want as of now is to be able to pay what i can, and get to a zero balance. i am unemployed as of now due to disability. when i opened the account i was in a disabled state, i do have income coming in, my disability check and i use that to pay my bills. i am also paying a second mortgage with this check. i do not want my credit to be in a bad rating. pls help if you can.

Bought a set of tires at Dobbs in St. Louis and was told that I would get a $50 credit if I opened up one of their credit accounts thru G.E. Money Bank. Rec'd first statement and minimum payment due was $26.00, I sent $100.00. Did not get a statement the following month and then on Feb 6 I got a statement dated Feb. 2 stating that $28 was past due and there was a $39.00 late fee added. I now owe $542.08 after sending $100.00 on a $603.00 bill. On 2-9 I started to receive phone calls at 8:00am telling me to send $54.00 immediately as my account is past due. The bill states that payment is due 2-24. I had sent in payment in full on 2-7 and this is 2-13 and they claim that they have not received the check
