I went to the Dentist for a routine exam. The dentist told me my insurance would not cover all cost for the work needed. The receptionist asked me if I would be interested in 12 months no interest financing for the cost of the work. They asked me to sign for authorization to inquire on the amount I would qualify for. I was told I qualified for $2000.00. I decided to get a second opinion on the dental work because I did not want additional debt. 2 weeks later, to my surprise I received a credit card in the mail with a statement indicating I owned $2000.oo. I did not have any dental work or buy anything. I immediately contacted GEMB and asked them to close this account. They would not nor would they investigate the dentist. I disputed the acccount numerous times and the response was always the same. They said I authorize the inquiry so I owned the dept. I am now being sued. Does anyone know of an attorney that would take this case? It is so wrong.

I had used my Care Credit card to pay for my veterinarian bill. I had three visit with 2 different veterinary clinic. I thought it will all be on one bill. It turns out that each billing has separate promotional expiration date. This is fine, but when I returned one medication which cost about $100 dollars to the vet's office and the office staff credited me back.
When I check online at GE money website, it was not credited back to me, so I called the vet's office. They called GE and settled that matter. However, GE Money did not credit me, and nor they credit me back my 5 other payments. I called them, a dump supervisor would not even listen, she just keep talking to herself. Now I read this site and understand that this is the GE practice.
I have bank statement to back me up and the vet office's record.

What should I do with them?
Please give me advise.

I would like information on where I can field a formal compliant against GE Care credit service. I have a problem every month since I have gotten this account which is ridiculous. This is the only account in which the billing cycle changes every month ranging from the 12th thru 15th. Every month I process the payment through my bank and GE conveniently never gets the payment by the due date in order to charge me a late fee. I complained last month and they remove the fee. Just when I think things are back on track here goes another late fee because the damm due date changed again. I call care credit and they refuse to give me a credit, the reps where rude to me on the phone and refuse to give me credit for something that is not my fault. I will be filling a complaint with the Better business Bureau and I plan on going to the news or anybody that can help me find out what is going on with this company. I just lost my job and I can’t afford to be paying out any additional money to GE every month. I have had other GE account and I have never had these types of problems
