Won't Clean
I purchased a new Hydro-Wave washer 4.1 IEC Cu.Ft. Model # GS185068G SD-F. This Model also has been discontinued. Now I know why. This washer has the short little agitator in it. It is suppose to produce wave action to clean the clothes, it does not. I watched the clothes with the lid open from beginning to end. The clothes at the top just floated in the water of this top load washer. It will only clean at best is a very small load. The service tech came out. He said that is how it is designed and is doing what it's suppose to do. This is a very poor design and G.E. knows it; since then they discontinued this model. G.E. will do nothing about it. They just keep saying that they will send a tech over. What's the point, we have been through this already. The retail dealer will not take it back either, that being A-1 Applicance Center. Lessons Learned: Don't buy G.E. products and don't buy from a small retailer like A-1. Try Lowes or Home Depot they are a lot bigger operation.

bad service
I was basically ignored by G..E. after
complaining about how all my appliances are failing and
how they suck!! I have a new home and every one of my appliances have failed in one way or another...

I have been called every name in the book by reps in consumer relations and
been called everything from your imagining it to racist when dealing with G.E. and their representives

Does MR. Graft exist????

I would like to know...

I have tried to reach him but no response...

Their products suck and the lesson to learn from all this I have come to determine is buy Wirlpool or anything other than G.E. products

Does Barrack Mr. President know about this? Is G. E. an American Company? Does America care about their products???

What now? I cant feed ny child because the fridge broke and now the oven has gone out too!!!

Does anyone care anymore about america and our products...

I would like whatever Mr. Graft is getting right now, a nice massage, golf, fine food and wine and a $20, 000 per night stay at whatever luxerous place he is in any part of the world because certainly he's not at G.E. answering my calls and explaining to my 12 year old son why he isnt eating a hot meal tonight!!!

A&E Service
My G.E. over-the-range microwave stopped heating (still had power) Sept. 28th. We called Lowe's where we bought the microwave less than 4 months prior, and they instructed to contact A&E for service repairs under the manufacturer's warranty. A&E first came out on Oct. 6th and I was told by the tech that we needed a new magnatron for the microwave so he ordered that part. The next week a new tech came out and put the magnatron in and it still did not heat. This tech said we didn't even need a new magnatron but needed a diode and capacitor. He ordered the two new parts and scheduled another service call for the next week. The next week we had yet another tech come out who was 2 hours late for the scheduled appt (no phone call to the customer about lateness) and he put the two new parts in and said the microwave still wasn't working. He said the only part left to replace was the transformer. So he ordered a transformer and scheduled yet another service appt. for the next week. The next week the new tech never called to say he wouldn't make my scheduled service appt that was supposed to be between 8am and noon. At 12:30 I contacted A&E and complained that there had been no communication, they contacted the tech and the tech called me directly. He said I had 3 calls ahead of me, and that it would be hours before he could get out to my subdivision. I immediately called a supervisor at the customer service number (1-800-905-9505) and demanded that a new tech be sent out. A new tech finally came out 4 hours AFTER the originally service call was scheduled to be at. This tech said the new transformer that had been ordered was broken and that yet another transformer would need to be ordered and another service call scheduled for the next week. This tech ordered the 2nd new transformer and also a thermostat. The next week a tech came out and replaced the transformer and thermostat, all the while complaining about the company he works for, that they don't have good business practices. I agree completely, as they NEVER send out the same technician. The problem is the new technician comes out to a mess and doesn't know where the prior technician left off. There is no communication between the customer, technician, and company. I NEVER want to deal with A&E again.
