I bought a G.E. DECT 6.0 cordless phone in june 2009 for $40. In September 2009 I returned it as it was not working properly. The shipping itself cost me $15. They registered a case upon the receipt of my product and said it would take 6-8 weeks for the refund. Its been 15 weeks by now and they are yet to despatch my refund check.
The customer service at 1-800-447-1700 is the most poor one that I never ever dreamt of. They are the final point for us and they say there is no escalation department I would speak to. They gave just the below corporate address and asked me to write a letter to them if I want to complaint.

I am lost all my patience and energy following up with them week by week. Everytime they say please allow 7-8 business days and they repeated this statement whenever I call to know the status. This is so atrocious and ridiculous. There is absolutely no regulation driving their response and delay or routing the customer complaints. This has to be questioned and regulated.
Is there any way to sue them?
