I PURCHASED A GE SPACESAVER MICROWAVE THREE YEARS AGO AND I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE BUTTONS ON THE FACE OF IT I CALLED A SERVICE MAN AND HE SAID THE PART WOULD COST ME 370.00 WHEN I ONLY PAID 435.00 FOR IT BRAND NEW AND THAT THE PART COMES FROM GE AND THATS WHAT IT COST.THE SERVICE MAN SAID THE PART WAS PLASTIC AND WHY WOULD GE MAKE A PART IN PLASTIC WHEN IT IS MADE TO BE INSTALLED OVER A STOVE WITH ALL THAT HEAT I MEAN IT IS MADE TO BE INSTALLED THERE WHY NOT MAKE THE PART IN METAL OR STEEL BUT NO THEY MADE IT IN PLASTIC SO THE CONSUMER CAN REPAIR IT EVERY THREE YEARS I FIND THIS TO BE A VIOLATON IN THE ENGINEERING DEPT FOR GE BUT HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANYWHERE WITH THEM I KNOW IT WAS OUT OF WARENTY BUT THEY AT LEAST COULD HAVE OFFERED THE PART AT A DISCOUNT .I MEAN A PART THAT COST 375.00 WHEN I PAID 425.00 FOR IT NEWW CAL LME CRAZY BUT I DONT GET IT COULD YO UPLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM I WOULD APPREACATE
