I went through a bankruptcy this past year and my debts were discharged. GEMB lending would not allow us to reaffirm our loan because it is their policy to not do that. I have been paying on the loan on time. I was gathering up my tax information to file taxes and realized I never got my form from them. I called them and got the worst customer service I have ever received and I was told I would not get that form because they can not mail me anything. The bankruptcy is discharged so that no longer applies but they say it is their policy. I asked if they could tell me the reporting amount of interest. They gave it to me. I asked how I can go about getting my hands on the form and they transferred me to another department that also gave me the interest reported amount and it was different. Then told me I had to request the form in writing but that I may not get it still. When I asked why I was just told 2 different amounts they couldn't answer me. Their policies don't sound legal to me. That interest form is legally mine if I am not in default of the loan. Supposed to be mailed out by 1/31 and it hasn't. I could not get one of their employees to understand how wrong this was, one of them actually asked me to fax them something in writing from the IRS stating it has to be mailed by 1/31. I couldn't believe it!

We have a similar issue with GEMB. Due to the economic recession we have liquidated alot of things to hold onto our home & our RV. After numerous harrassing phone calls from them & our making payment arrangements, which we were unable to make due to weather not allowing my husband to work, they are now saying they will not accept our payments & bring our note current. They have received a substantial amount of money in interest payments & still they will not return calls, accept payment. They make their millions, while the middle class struggles to get by and to have some form of enjoyment out of life.
There needs to be a class action law suit brought against them for the shady business practices.

We have had a RV loan thru this place for 3 years and fell behind in the summer due to unforseen circumstances. We made payment arrangements to get caught up with this and they were very helpful. Approximately 1 month after setting up these arrangements we get a call that they do not do those type of arrangements so we worked out another arrangement. Approximately 1 month later a person shows up at our driveway to repossess the RV, it was a great surprise. The repo guy had this outragous amount of money we needed to come up with. We immediately called GEMB lending and were able to work out a payment plan that we have been paying every since. Than all of a sudden they send my payments back. This past saturday 12/18 our campground received a call from this same repo man that he was coming to get our RV, our campground called us and we attempted to call GEMB lending to find out what is happening. I have also left numerous messages with the person i was working with to find out why this is happening and he has not returned my calls. I than finally talked to a person on 12/21 and I explained to him what arrangements had been made and that person said we do not make those type of arrangements. We than asked to speak to someone in managment and he said no one was available until around 4 and I said please have someone call me, well no one did. I than left another message with the person i have been working with and again no return call. In the mean time i may lose my RV for making payments as we worked out. We are at are wits end and do not know what to do.

I have a camper loan thru GEMB and in 8 years only one payment was 8 days past the 30 day limit due to a medical emergency. It now shows up as the only negative on my credit report until 2016. According to the company they do not have a one time forgiveness policy as violates Federal Law (a flat out lie). This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They call at all hours demanding their money if it is 2 days past due, and are more than willing to screw up your credit if you are late.

I was in the hospital for kidney cancer and they repossessed my RV. I had been in contact with them regarding a temporary loan modification, was told that I had to bring the account current(which I did) then they said they don't have any loan modifications. I was only 47 days late, and they knew of my health situation and took it to auction, sold it for pennies on the dollar and now they want the accelerated balance from me. I plan on taking public and hopefully viral. First stop ABC
