Ridiculous company
I can't begin to tell you the frustration in dealing with Gems TV, especially with the Customer Service Team Lead. I have a legitimate request to receive reimbursement for my shipping and handling on returned defective items, but I am being refused this refund. Since I have been "terminated" as a customer for high returns, I have been ignored, treated rudely, and not given any respect. I don't warrant this treatment and will escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau. Can't Gems TV do what is right for the customer? Come on now! This is a ridiculous company. WARNING - DO NOT SHOP WITH GEMS TV!!! You will regret it!

Simply ridiculous
My shopping experience with Gems TV USA started off well but declined very quickly. On the Gems TV broadcast, they continuously promote the "30 Day Money Back Guarantee, return for ANY reason, and their risk free shopping". If you follow this policy and have a high rate of returns, Gems TV will block your account. Gems TV penalizes / punishes the customer. I followed their 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, and did not realize my account was blocked until I called to place an order. This is a shopping network...so I was so surprised that they no longer wanted my business after I spent a few thousand dollars. This is so unfair! I contacted the Gems TV Corporate Office, but was ignored. Talk about the worst shopping experience ever. I am glad I found out how they treat their customers (poorly) and what this company is all about, their bottom line. Gems TV has poor business practices. Why say "risk free shopping" when there are consequences...your account will be blocked for high returns? Why say "return for ANY reason" when they are requesting a valid reason? Why say "30 Day Money Back Guarantee" when you are limited to the number of returns? Why say "they place the customer first" when no one from the Corporate office will respond? Ridiculous! I have taken my business elsewhere where I am valued as a customer.

Bait & Switch
Ordered a ring from the TV with the item code and the ring sent was a completely different item code. I said I didn't get the ring ordered and wanted the ring with item # xxxxx. Anyways, now the ring is unavailable and they will refund my purchase upon return. So then I ordered another ring and again got a comparable but lesser ring. I told GemsTV that bait & switch was illegal in the US and they just glossed over it with "return it for a full refund". Also pay strict attention to item numbers because what they do is just change 2 of the 5 numbers around so you believe you got the ring you ordered, but you didn't. It's a sham that legally someone should fight.

Bad tanzanite
I have a real problem with their tanzanite. I bought a so called AAA tanzanite ring and when I got it I wasn't sure of the color and the more I look ed at it the madder I get. It is definitely not a AAA not even a real color tanzanite, it has very little color. I took a trip to the caribbean and their tanzanite was absolutely beautiful and blue. I am so upset... I also bought a blue diamond from them that is the oddest color blue diamond I have ever seen and I am really upset with that also... You have to be really careful what you buy from them, I have bought a lot and most of it is alright except for the most expensive things I got. I will stay with their cheap stuff..

color enhancement
PURCHASED A MADASCAN RUBY RING, LOVED IT. HAD IT SIZED AND IT WAS RUINED BECAUSE IT WAS COLOR ENHANCED...MEANING IT HAD BEEN INJECTED WITH SOMETHING TO MAKE THE COLOR MORE EVEN AND REDDER, NOW THIS IS LEGAL...BUT THEY SAY IN THEIR INFORMATION ONLINE THAT THE PRESENTERS WILL LET YOU KNOW IF A GEM IS ENHANCED IN THIS WAY BECAUSE SPECIAL CARE IS NEEDED DOES NOT TAKE THE HEAT OF SIZING. STONE NEEDS TO BE PULLED FIRST. NOT ONE OF THE HOSTS HAS EVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THIS TREATMENT, SO THE JEWELER WHERE I TOOK IT HAD TO SEARCH FOR 2 MONTHS TO REPLACE THE STONE, THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND I TOLD CS SO, THEY SAID THAT IS WHY THEY GIVE YOU A BOOK ON GEMS WITH FIRST PURCHASE, WHAT A COP OUT, WHO READS EVERY DETAIL IN A BOOK WHEN YOU RELY ON THE COMPANY TO BE TRUTHFUL AS THEY STATE ON LINE IN WRITING? I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED IN THEM AND THEIR EXCUSES, I ALSO HEARD ONE OF THE HOSTS STATE ON AIR THAT THESE RUBIES ARE NOT TREATED IN ANY WAY!!!I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EARS, THEY NEED TO DO WHAT THEIR MISSION STATEMENT SAYS THEY ARE GOING TO DO, BE HONEST WITH THE CUSTOMER. I WOULD OF BOUGHT THE RUBY ANYWAY SINCE THIS IS A FAIRLY COMMOM PRACTICE, AND HAD THE STONE REMOVED FOR SIZING, INSTEAD I WENT THROUGH MONTHS OF WORRY WHETHER I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET THE RUBY FROM MY JEWELER, I WAS SICK ABOUT IT. Ring scam
I bought a blue and white diamond ring from Gems TV and they say that they have a 30 day money back guarantee if you leave the tag on it. They also tell you to wear it and see if you like it. Well I wore it for a few days and sent it back before the 30 days with the tag still on it and I find a return and it is them sending it back to me because the tag is worn. I have bought numerous items from them since last August and I am a valued customer ordering from them all the time... I am very upset with them that they sent the ring back to me knowing that the ring is unharmed. Now they are loosing a good customer...
