Claim unpaid after 3 months of begging
I have two claims that have remained unpaid for 3 mths. During this time, Gen-Health have lied to me 3 times:
1. They said they accidentally refunded the doctor directly, instead of me (which they did not).
2. They said they did an EFT to my cheque account (which they did not)
3. Then they insisted they deposited a cheque into my account over a weekend (which they did not).
Each time I ask for proof of payment I get given a reference number and they don't send anything.
I now have 5 reference numbers, one of which pertains to a call they logged for a Supervisor to call me back.
I have spent 3 months (time wasted) and who knows how much money on phone calls (being put on hold endlessly, if they even answer the phone) and still no resolution.
I am beyond disgusted.
This is one of about 10 different incidents of bad (or no) service that I have received from Gen-Health.

Gen-health playing with lives
This place is really the joke of the town!!! The circus is more professional! We are trying to join this medical aid since February. Have faxed everything they required 6 times!! Yes 6 times and every time it is just a situation that they have not received the fax!!! I was under the impression that my two old parents are on a medical aid but now for the past month they were not on medical aid because of their terrible incompetency! Try to speak to a supervisor and you can’t! They are hiding something and don’t have the audacity to speak to their paying clients, so what they do is they put you on hold and never get back to you and let you hold like a po*phol! My parents are still not on a medical aid. Today I gave them everything that they need, they can only confirm within 48 hours if they will be on medical aid…. Two days to look at something.. what a joke…. Bwhahahaha don’t know who is laughing!!! I am also sending this email to carte blanch as they are investigating medical aids and like Lucia Nkuna said: “do it because we don’t care!”…
