I purchased a new phone September 14, 2009 and inquired about
texting and the charge. I was told they could add in to my service and /or charge me 15 cents for each text. I told them that I may try it first and did so. I did text a few messages. Than I noticed I was being charges in October, 2009 for $9.99. I let it slide that month, but have been noticing a charge each month for that amount from 73299-Generaltext. I went to the Alltel office and disputed the charge. They said they did not charge me and that it was a third party charge. They said they did not have a phone number to call you, but that I would have to email you and good luck in getting that money back. They said they will take it off my bill, but I should get back $39.96 for the four months. I have had this phone service for at least 15 yrs and do not approve of the way this was handled. I did not sign up for anything nor do I want this----JUST REFUND MY MONEY!!!
