I went to this practice last month for my free cleaning, xrays, exam provided by my Medicare Sup. A dentist did this. I was a little concerned because my teeth hadn't been cleaned in 3 yrs and he did the cleaning in about 20 min. I had a cavity on my front tooth that was bothering me, I called 1 month later and asked for a filling. The Rec. told me to buy Careington Ins. and see the other dentist to save money- I did, printed my card, and came to appt. The other dentist x-rayed each tooth individually, examined and re-examined (2 hrs.) Told me my bottom teeth needed to be cleaned.Then said we were out of time and I would have to come back for the filling. The filling is why I came, and borrowed money from my friend. He told me to come back after the holidays-Then after I got upset, the receptionist told me I could switch back to the other dentist and come in on Mon. Huh? In the dental ins. books, they list several dentists, but she told me that one of them hasn't been there in 15 yrs.(His name is on the sign out front). I will not let the first dentist drill my teeth if he can't even clean them!
