finfinance charge on interest free purchase

I financed several mattresses thru GE Online services. They were to be interest free and if paid before 2 years, no interest, end of payments, end of story.I have never missed a payment, they have always been on time and higher than the minimum payment required. I suddenly received a $350.00 "finance charge". There is no way to contact them, although they do provide a telephone number, which is strictly automated. It tells you amongst other things, when they are open...but there is never a customer service representative to speak wit, thus they are never open???No email address, that responds.

A sleazy bunch of crooks. I am not getting into a thing with mattress company versus geonline services, as in "he said, she said." I will have to file a 93A for deceptive business practices.

mistaken identity

On June 5, 2005, I purchased a number of appliances from Airport Appliances. I decided to finance for 18 months.
The issue: I was turned down for credit based on someone elses credit information. Although the sales rep from Airport Appliance told your credit rep that you had the wrong information, it fell on deaf ears.

I am currently working with a lawyer to seek damages for this mistaken identity which has caused undue stress and humiliation to me. My credit score is in the 800's so my credit should not be an issue. The fact that your credit rep would not even consider that he did not have my credit information at hand, is totally unacceptable and irresponsible.

We'll have to let our legal system handle something that should never have happened. Very poor business practices for GE Credit!!!
