Fradulent puppy seller
I was looking on the internet for bulldog breeders as i wanted to find a puppy. I saw an advert for 2 bulldog puppies from a man claiming to be in the forces and had been posted to isle of man so couldnt look after the puppies as planned. The puppies were advertised at £250 each which i realised was very very cheap for that breed but presumed he was just trying to get them a new home asap. I emailed him and he sent me some pictures and told me this situation. I asked if i could come and collect the puppies in person but he said that would be difficult with him in the forces. He emailed me information regarding the shipping company "Pet air Express". He even said i didnt need to pay for the puppies until they had been delivered but i would need to pay for the shipping of the puppies before hand and sent me a phone number and email address of the shipping company.I asked him for a contact number so i could get in touch with him and speak to him rather than keep emailing him. I also asked him for documents/certificates showing the puppies background. He kept saying he would send them but i never receieved them.He rang me from an "0237" number which i presumed was an isle of man code. The reception was very bad and i could hardly understand what he was saying. I researched the shipping company on the internet and found websites such as this one warning about the "pet air express" shipping company. I then tried to find the companies actual website - when i did it looked unprofessional. I then searched on the internet for dialling codes for the isle of man and found out that the number he had rang me from was actually in Cameroon!!! which is the same as the other scam been noted on this website!!so i have emailed "Gerard" back and told him what i think about this SCAM!!!
