I noticed an unauthorized charge on my citigroup mastercard dated 11/24/10 in the amount of $228.30 recently. The charge is listed as "WWW.GETTINGPERSONAL.CO INTERNET GBR". Getting Personal is a company based in the UK that sells gifts that can be personalized. I contacted my credit card company first then took valuable time out of my day to reach out to Getting Personal Ltd. The customer service representative, Lisa, was not helpful at all and only could offer the suggestion to cancel my credit card. What a revelation huh! What I felt was intersting is that they pride themselves on the motto that "Internet Shopping Is Safe" and they are a member of isisaccreditation.imrg.org a company that accredits e-commerce companies that exhibit exceptional business practices and competencies. I realize that Getting Personal did not use my card but there system sure let some criminal do so. I hope this helps warn others of the high level of risk you may expose yourself to if dealing with this company.
