Dear Sir,
We own a Getz-P-GLE(NW), our date of purchase is 18/02/08
We are facing problems with our Tyres, the Car is run around
33, 500 Kms, and all the Tryes are having severe wear and tear,
(The road conditions in Guwahati are not abnormal, and we also own other
Cars of Hyundai, where the tyres last around 45000 to 50000 kms)
We contacted your service offices and they say the tyres need
Replacement.
Pls guide us what should we do, we are not happy about the entire thing.
The Above is the Complaint we send to Hyundai Motors and we received the following
reply from their side, We are really Very sad to see the poor Customer Service level
from them and I know that this kind of Service commitment would soon KILL the COMPANY.
Dear Mr Agarwall,
Greetings from Hyundai.
Sir we have received your complaint regarding the tyre worn out problem. Also I would like to inform you that certain items in the vehicle are not directly warrantable from Hyundai Motor India ltd, like tyres, batteries etc. This has been mentioned in warranty policy of HMIL in the Owner’s Manual Book. These items are under warranty from the respective manufacturers. In your case your tyres are under the warranty from M/S Good Year.
Our dealers like M/S Mukesh Hyundai, to support the customers is to arrange the service engineer of M/S Good Year, to inspect the tyres of vehicles in case of tyre related problem. Which they did and as per the Tyre Report from Good Year, it seems they are supporting what ever possible from their side, although the vehicle is beyond warranty period. Also it has been observed that you have reported in Hyundai dealer network last on 10/05/2010 with odometer reading of 33391 Km and before that you reported in Oja Hyundai on 22/07/2209 with odometer reading 17876 Km. It is always advisable to visit Authorized Dealer Service Network and do periodic maintenance every 10000 Km to avoid breakdown and smooth running of the vehicle.
In related to the your feedback/complaint, we regret to inform you that HMIL will not be able to support beyond what M/S Good Year is supporting. Hence I would like to advise you to purchase new tyre sets and do the alignment check in any of our dealer network to avoid reoccurrence of the problem.
However we are committed to serve you always.
With Warm Regards
NUPUR BORGOHAIN
