I feel the need to write a complaint about Giada Salon for others who might be considering their services. My experience was shocking to me and to Aveda headquarters. Giada is a local business in Chico CA and run in a very unprofessional manner. They have yet to return a phone call. But this is minimal compared to what happens when you actually do get an appt. Two stylists on two separate occasions were 20 minutes late for my appointment. The first one had me come in for a haircut when she had plenty of time. Late, she then declined to cut my hair because there wasn't enough time. The second stylist was 15 minutes late for a color. Now, getting irritated, I mentioned that I rushed over to be on time. She then refused service to me saying the spa must not be the right one for me.
I guess they like to punish customers for their unprofessional behavior by denying service. When I spoke with the owner of the salon she actually lied about several things.
Toxic place. Stay away!
