I have never experienced worse customer support, and I am involved with customer support on a daily basis.
The $18 "Gift Fee" has saved me a lot of money because it has forced me to see that there are much better, and much cheaper alternatives to Greyhound. The fee was charged because my daughter had problems purchasing the tickets with her debit card, it was an issue on Greyhound's side.I would seriously consider reviewing the legality of this process. My daughter started college this year, and I have learned that I would NEVER let her travel via Greyhound again, and will do my best to alert all parents, both from her previous high school and current college to also not be compromised by choosing Greyhound. Bolt Bus seems like a highly superior and much cheaperalternative.
I have tried calling "Customer Support" six times and have never had the call answered, regardless of how long i let it ring. This was not regarding the curiouly named Gift Fee, but scheduling questions
