On August 25th I hired Mr. Gilmore to perform several tax services for me. It is now September 17th. NOTHING has been done. I cancelled the contract on August 31, because of lack-of-action. I had an important deadline to meet and had lost time waiting for his help. I requested an account closure and a refund minus a consultant fee. After calls, emails, and faxes, I have yet to receive my $1, 000.00 back or some amount close to it. A Better Business Bureau compliant as been filed as well as notification to the Department of Corporation. We are now on our way to small claims court. Please beware of businesses who deal with the IRS on your behalf. Make sure you trust them and get references and referrals. This person has been in business many years, carried a high BBB rating, and referred by a close friend. NONE of that mattered when money(payment) was involved . Professionalism, fair business dealings and availability all went out the window.Turns out he is a level H representative and can only perform certain services with the IRS, more importantly my taxes were to be farmed out to a third party. This was written on the contract, but not in our face to face meeting. Proceed with extreme caution when working with this business.
