I am an American living in Germany at this time. I have been to Croatia on vacation and went to Trieste, Italy. I thought it is a great opportunity to buy new frame . My husband bought a sunglasses for him and our son, and I bought frame for myself. A Sales Associates took one frame out of a drawer and recommended for me. When I had an opportunity two months latter, back in Germany to put lenses in I was told that was frame for a man. I could not believe it. But I noticed they are big for me. I send a letter to the store in Italy. I have contacted Safilo Group in Germany. They cannot help me since I did not purchased them here. I have a receipt which is faded totally (bad quality) but anyway on the receipt was only amount stated and my bank account number and store name when I made a purchase. I paid with a card so I have receipt from my bank. Also I have original bag, case, cleaning tissue and of coarse a frame. The only thing I don't have plastic lenses since my optician took them out when putting in my prescription lenses. I feel bad wearing man's frame. I would like to return the same and if I cannot get the money back at least to exchange for woman's frame. An associate should have known what is she selling. We have spent 500 euro at their store and think it is totally rip off to sell me a man's frame. Can you please help me to somehow solve this issue.
