unauthorized charges
I experienced this when I was applying for a loan online, thinking that my info will be safe because many people do business online. But after I did the application, my account was debited $49.98 for something that I did not do. Me & my bank did an investigation and found a number that I can contact the company directly. When I called them up, they process everything that needs to be done, even returning my money back into my account by 3 business days.

How can someone give authorization to withdraw money from an account, when the name of the person is not yours? My son played around with my computer and found my banking info and my son applied for a loan, not knowing that he also agreed on a third party membership of sort. Called the company that charged me a fee of $49.98 and informed me that my son accidentally did this and it’s without my consent So, they cancelled everything that my son did, and for the $49.98, it was returned to my account by 5 business days. Now, I’m in a position to replace my checking account because my information is already out there in the open, thanks to my son.

I too signed up for a loan because I had a medical emergency. I found one and sent an application. 10 days after, I saw a charge on my online account so I called my bank right away to ask who authorized it and they gave me that company’s customer service number. Called them up and they told me that it was a third party membership or like a third party service center, I can’t remember. I asked for a cancellation immediately and a refund of my $49.98. They said they cancelled it and I was gonna get my refund after 3 or 5 business days. Well, they kept their word and I got my money back but it was a little after 5 days.
