I visited the salon for highlights. Whilst the stylist was doing the highlights I asked her why are they so far from my scalp, she said she can’t put them closer because ‘it will look funny’. The highlights looked like re-growth. When the highlights were taken off, my hair was yellow. I told the stylist that my hairdresser uses a toner on my hair. She told me that she can’t put anything on my hair because ‘it won’t work’. She suggested I go buy Silver Shampoo and that will take the yellow out. I went to different salon and found the Silver Shampoo. The stylist asked me why I wanted the shampoo and I told her reason. She said the Silver Shampoo would not work in my hair as it is for grey hair. She said that the product used on my hair was either not strong enough or not left on long enough. A toner should have also been put on right away. I then went to my regular salon on Monday. My hairdresser spent 2 ½ hours correcting the highlights done on my hair and a full colour.The stylist apologised that I was not happy and offered a free treatment at the salon. I do not wish to visit the salon any time in the future and want my money back!
