Broken glasses
First of all I have purchased items from sears for a lot of years...I purchased a pair of prescription glasses from sears glasses center in the Fayette mall in Lexington, I have had these glasses less than six months and one of the sides of the glasses broke off.the lady told me that they do not carry replacement parts and that I would have to purchase a new pair of frames at the price of one hundred and thirty nine dollars, no discount on new frames or no replacement parts is just wrong..I will not be going to sears for any more purchases...Don Rogers

Nike-glasses F NK 6032 001 53
last year I have bought this Nike-glasses F NK 6032 001 53. I have lost a sleeve (temple tip) of the left handle. At 12. april I was at the melawaistore Discovery Mall in Kuta to order this and I have also ordered new glasses. They said to order this sleeve in Jakarta.

At 19. april I was at this store to get my new glasses but they did not get the sleeve and told me that they cannot get it - I am very disappointed about this customer care!

I stay in bali until 28. april. Please do all that I get this sleeve - I cannot wear the glasses without!

the 90 days exchange
picked up glasses on jan 22, 2011 whas told we had a 90 day return if not happy, tryed to take them back to be fixed because the bio focales were not high enought ws told we were 8 days passed and it would have to pay 65 dollars, how can a 90 day return start before you receive your glasses, it s hard to were something we havent gotton yet.

Specsavers advert shown on sky news 24th of march at 5:30pm
The most sexist advert i have ever seen in my life. Shows lots of very skinny model looking women pulling at their bikini bottoms and bouncing boobs. They are all running towards a fat man. I am horrified that a family company can treat women like this. This does nothing to help womens confidence and also shows that all women should only look like skinny supermodels with a tan. No wonder there is skin cancer in young women with the use of sunbeds and anorexia with adverts like these. I will never take my 11 year old daughter back there again. This is no longer a family company in my eyes. They should maybe advertise on adult channels for fat men only!!!

Worst customer service
I bought 2 pair of glasses at the Eye master store in the Irving Town Center 3626 Irving Mall, Irving, Texas 75062 on 2/17/10 for $376.50. They informed me that my glasses would be ready for pick up in two weeks.

They called me two weeks later to tell me my glasses were ready. I get there to find one pair had no nose pieces and the other pair; one of the lens was cut wrong and did not set in the frame properly with a gap in one corner.

They fixed the pair that was missing the noise pieces in the store and informed me that they had to send the other pair back to get the lens recut.

Another two weeks go by and I decide to stop by the store to see if my glasses were ready. They were ready for pick up and ready to wear. I asked why I had not been notified and they could not give me an answer.

When I said something about this being poor service, they did not even try to smooth it over. Instead they offered me a business card and told me to call back at 2:30pm to speak with the manager, Nadine. Again, more run around!

I feel that Eye Maste should compensate me for the waste of my gas and the inconvenience, and that’s not to mention the stress of having to deal with the imperfections of your Customer Service Representatives in the store. They need to consider CSR training.

In closing, I would like to add that my family, friends and myself will never buy from Eye Master stores again for the fact this is the worst service I have ever had from an eye glass business in over 40+ years of wearing glasses.

bifocals lenses
On the 09/18/09 I ordered one new eye glasses from the St. Luke's Eye Care & Laser Center optical department. I ordered one of unlined bifocals new eye glasses, but what i got was one new eye glasses with lined bifocals. I don't wear glasses with lined bifocals. I was under the understanding that i was getting and paided in cash $159.00 receipt # 721223 one new eye glasses with unlined bifocals. I was very disapointed that their was nothing they couldn't do about the lined bifocals new glasses I receieved without $100.00 extra charge to change my lined bifocals lens to unlined bifocals lens of my ordered new eye glasses.

All i wanted was a new eye glasses that i can see well with and all i got was new eye glasses that i can't see well with because of the lined bifocals and i told the gentleman who i ordered and pick-up my new eye glasses that I was under the understanding these new glasses were going to be unlined bifocals and that these new eye glasses are going to be in my trash can because i don't wear lined bifocals, and i'm going to have to purchase a new pair from some place else. I'm on a disability income which leave me very limted financialy and i feel misrepresentation for what i ordered and what I got
and I feel rip off of a $159.00 with new glasses i can't see well with because of the lined bifocals lens!

broke`
I took my son in to have glasses made before prom. Paid over 400.00 just for lens and desided to keep his own frame he like it and it was in good shaqe.

Not even two days went by and the lens falls out.

go back find out lens was cut bad. spent another hour waiting

come home and realised the screw that was put into the nose piece where you take the lens out they had put in a huge screw that goes across his nose..I called corporate

they were very nice saying they would compensate me for my time and travel.

I get a phone call from store manager mad that i called corporate . argued with me that they never touched the nose piece and that she would just replace the screw..

Now I know why they only offer 30 days on your glasses they dont want to mess with the customer. they want to sell the glasses and get rid of you...she was rude to me . and more or less called me a liar.

I still have to go in today to get the screw removed and shortened after hours of waiting. Not sure how they are going to handle it...according to manager they are not doing anything ...it took me 3 hours total driving time to get these fixed..plus almost 3 hours sitting time. they are not a one hour eye clinic from my view and hard to find corporate numbers to call them on the site...dont use them...you will be sorry.

I am I would return my glasses and have them give me my money back and get them some where else but did not expect problems and now they have my lens. my son can not drive without his glasses.
