Seems I'm not the only one concerned about the handling of an estate. This is one for, and I'll only use initials, HC. It has been over a year and a half since her passing. There were several named as heirs and no one has heard anything but excuses from this guy. In these hard times and due to unemployment there are some of us that could use what money was to be distributed to us. Would it bail us out of an economic disaster, probably not, but it would buy food and medications that are needed. This was her desire, to share what she had with those that she loved. One of the executixes receives call after call in regards to this and she has no answers. How sad to put someone through this. Recently I read about someone that reminds me of Mr. Cummings. Somehow this person was able to come up with all sorts of repairs on the property in order to sell it. Then there was monies used for this and that and by the time it was settled there was nothing left for the heirs. When one of the heirs decided to look into it they found that the ones doing the work and billing the estate was in fact related to the lawyer. Kick backs were probably made and the only one that really came out on top was the lawyer. Having talked to others about this I am convinced that there will be no money left for the heirs. I can only say, stay away from this lawyer unless you want nothing done and are willing to be given excuses as to why he can't get things taken care of. And how sad for HC, only if she had known this would happen I am sure that she would have found an attorney that would have taken care of her estate as she had wished.
