misleading information
I find it appauling that this company charges you $10 to send a DVD that they claim will explain a business opportunity. You get the DVD and NOWHERE in it do they say the name of the company, further they never even tell you what exactly they sell! They then try to get you to sign up for an Herbal life Distributorship when they call you. I have tried this particular work at home program once before and I can tell you from experience that you will end up wasting your money. First you have to pay them for the products (that you are supposed to use yourself not sell), then they want you to pay for a distributorship, then you have to order products to sell in a very over saturated market. Did I mention that this stuff tastes like ground up chalk?? At least the shakes do. Then you have all of the pills that they want you to take and to sell. I did not need to lose weight to begin with, so how am I supposed to SELL people on the idea of a weight loss supplement? The recruiter reassured me that you could also use these supplements to gain muscle if that is indeed your intention. Like any naive young person I thought it was worth a shot. Well about $400.00 later, I had some nasty tasting shake mix, several pills that say on the bottle that they are for weight LOSS, some energy bars (not very tasty either), and some stupid "ASK ME HOW I LOST 20LBS" buttons. I was very disappointed in the company and I swore to never fall for their scemes again. Well here it is 5 years later and they have a new trick up their sleeves. Now they advertise on the net and again they are as vague as ever about who the company really is that I would be working for. All the while they build up this "great opportunity" for working from home. I am so tired of them nickel and dime-ing people just to find out that it is Herbal life! WHY can't they just say up front that this is the name of the company? Then I could decide for myself if it is worth $10 before I get their DVD and a phone call that I didn't want, because believe me if I had known that it was Herbalife I would have NEVER ordered the DVD!
