I was due to go on holiday to Cancun on 28 April 2009, due to the Swine Flu, this was cancelled, when I called Global Late Deals, to my utter shock I was told by Johnathan, the Sales Manager that he could not give me a full refund on the holiday - although it was physically impossible for me to get to Cancun! He said all he would do is book me another holiday and pay me back the difference, if I did not do this then I would have no refund.
After numerous calls, letters and e-mails I decided the only option was to go there (This is not a normal Travel Agents, it is a call centre)... I had to walk into a call centre and demand to speak to a Manager to rectify the situation - There I was promised a full refund but would have to wait a few days for this. So, in other words they tried to bribe/blackmail me into buying another holiday!
If you do want to contact them you have to wait HOURS on hold before speaking to someone and I even was on hold for 2 hours and was later told that the office was not even open.
WARNING - NEVER BOOK HOLIDAYS THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!
