Global Timeshare Sales Reviews

Fraud, scam
I received a call from a Steve who said he represented Global Timeshare Sales. He said that he had a buyer for my timeshare. Since I have never spoken to anyone at that company, I was suspicious to begin with, but played along to see what the scam was. After they "sold" my timeshare for a "great profit", the manager, Kyle Miller called and explained how I would be receiving all the closing papers, etc. First I would need to use my credit card and pay them $1, 950. Since I wasn't willing to do that, I figured they could just take that out of the sale, he would just have to move on to the next property. The contact phone # is 1-800-859-9394 ext. 103 for Kyle, ext. 114 for Steve. The number that showed up on my caller ID was 407-581-3756. Steve said they were located in Orlando, FL. I looked up Global Timeshare Sales on Google and found the address in Kissimmee, FL but the number given had been disconnected; it was a 407 area code. I found a website for Global Timeshare Sales and it said it was located in Brockton, MA.
I would hate to think these guys would get anyone to pay. I'm sure that if they did, something would happen and the "buyer would back out or something".

Misrepresentation-Taking Money Unlawfully
Global Timeshares called me and said they had a couple sitting there who wanted to buy my timeshare at the asking price, plus $1500 extra if they could use it in 2008.Someone came on the line and asked me to do Brian a favor and say "no" if I was asked if I was told that someone was sitting there waiting to buy my timeshare. So I lied and that is what they taped. They also said "Don't pay the maintenance fee Because the new owner will pay it."I gave them my credit card # and agreed to pay $1950 for their services.I got a fax which looked like they were selling my timeshare for $2550. I signed it and returned it and asked the girl whed I would get my money. She said, "In 4 or 5 days." A few days later I got a form that I had paid $1950 for them to try to sell my timeshare. Two years before I had paid them $1000 to try to sell it and they had done nothing for me.So I didn't owe them any more.
