We use to offer all ground services to Globespan airways in Egypt ...We had a very important outstanding invoices and suddenly they stoped all operations and that's it !!!

Stay away at all costs
I have a son & family now living in Scotland & because the Sanford airport is nearer than Orlando plus this was a direct flight, I took a friend & off we went. Worse flight experience we have ever experiences & we both travel a lot.
Bad attitude from flight attendants, lousy food thrown at us in one foil wrapped container, ONE small drink, all others were charged, never heard of such a deal on long flights, even water was a charge! And, no pillows, no blankets, noise all night in tight quarters. All this for over $900.!

We did not know about all these charges extra & did expect we might be able to sleep since we had a full next day. Overall, a lousy start to a wonderful trip! Then we had to repeat the experience coming back, same thing all over but we did bring water & food!

flight "rescheduled" with no warning
In September Globspan cancelled our Sunday evening flight home from Barcelona with no warning.They called it "rescheduled." We had a 6 hour wait for an eventual 2.30am Monday morning take off, with work to go to after 2 hrs sleep!
Barcelona airport staff told us Globespan do this all the time. Friends almost missed a funeral coming home from Barcelona under almost identical circumstances.
Would you travel with a company who regularly do this or would you choose another airline if you had been warned?

Transfers
I am writing to claim back charges of £80 that I was charged for tranfers from Palma Airport to the Sol Tordos/Mirlos hotel on Tuesday 3rd June 2008.

We arrived in Palma from Edinburgh and was looking around the airport for two hours trying to find our transport to our hotel, to no avail, we the had to get 2 taxi'x as there was 8 off us to our hotel.

I have been assured that I will receive my £80 back.

Flight price and catering
We have recently flown with globespan from Aberdeen to Paphos 29 April 08 Due to the geographical location of this airport we are being penalized for the location the price from this airport are extremely high The fight duration is approx 6 hours the in-flight catering was a hot sandwich or a cup of soup which costs an arm and a leg. If I had gone to the local supermarket and bought the same items they would have been a fraction of the cost on board this flight. Their was no on board entertainment we all had just sit for 6 hours and amuse the kids and or selves. Staff were not interested once they had served the in flight useless service they just sat at the rear and enjoyed the ride. Bottles of wine kept being taken towards the rear not sure who drank them but we did not see all the crew when we landed in Cyprus. Return flight was even worse. An announcement in the departure lounge at Paphos informed us that due to a technical problem there would be no in flight catering on this flight to Aberdeen, we all had to rush around and get something for our 2 year old granddaughter as she would never have survived a 6 hour flight without food, we grabbed the last of the pizza and boarded nearly an hour earlier than the scheduled departure time. Once on board the Captain announced that he had decided to get us all on board as we were all accounted for and he may be release for an early take off slot. Unfortunately this did not happen and we took off at the scheduled time so we sat in the stiffly hot Aircraft for an hour with no food. The cabin crew said sorry about the in flight catering but it had not been loaded by the catering staff a Aberdeen this was a contradiction of what we had been told earlier surely this should have been checked before they departed from Aberdeen. The price of the flight was not cheap and when I returned there in the local newspaper was an advert for globspan with the same flight at a cost of Aberdeen to Cyprus £70.99 (pp.one way. inc taxes) I paid nearly 4 times that amount When we arrived at our holiday destination we spoke to other holiday maker who had flown from Gatwick with globspan and they really enjoyed the experience, the food was good, in-flight entertainment was available at a cost and the flight time was less. We from Aberdeen never even saw anything that resembled a screen on board this Aircraft I trust we will all be hearing from globespan very soon and explain this hitch The Aircraft was exceptional and timing impeccable Just the bit in between was terrible Prices to high right across the board Tickets & in flight food was atrocious and over priced.

Poor customer service!
My wife and I flew on Globespan's inaugural Glasgow-Calgary run in May of this year (2007). The flight was delayed by over 24 hours. A nuisance, but not terrible. The fight itself was fine but their customer service since then has been abysmal. I have spent five months trying to get a simple letter from then confirming that my flight was delayed so that I can process my flight insurance and make a claim.

I have spoken to half a dozen individuals, each of whom has promised to pass on my details to someone relevant. I have since countless e-mails via their web site and also to their direct customer service e-mail address, all to no avail. I've spoken to people in their Vancouver office and have tried phoning long-distance to Glasgow, only to sit on hold and have to give up before reaching a real human.

I can understand one representative failing to do their job. However, there is simply no excuse for such a lengthy catalog of nonexistent service. I am now to the point of e-mailing them daily, but still have not heard anything from anyone.

Put on wrong plane!
My daughter was booked to fly to Gatwick from Hamilton and was put on the WRONG PLANE. Despite her concern that she had been misboarded, the attendants checked her ticket 3 times, decided it was a clerical error and had her step aside so that others may board. They said they would find her a seat later. Once the error was discovered in-flight, she was yelled at. No hospitality was offered. I'm sure the Canadian government would find it shocking to learn that anyone can board a Globespan plane and fly unbeknown to security. Many calls later (none instigated by Globespan) she still has no luggage.
