free trial offer
Free trial offer on hair care products is a scam to charge your payment account, without the ability to stop them after paying shipping charge.

Online Free trial
I, like many others have fallen victim to misleading advertising from Kronos. After the 30 day trial period, my account was charged an additional $108 and after calling the number on the credit card bill, I was offered a partial refund of about $50. I canceled my membership over the phone, but resorted to emailing their customer service at [email protected] and demanding a full refund ($108). A nice woman from Intelligent Beauty called after an hour and offered a full refund. She even offered to ship a few more bottles of hair products, but I am sure you understand why I refused another "free" shipment. Anyway, I actually liked the product and was almost ready to buy more in stores, but I'll have to think twice now. If executives of this company are willing to concoct an online scheme like this, you have to wonder what else are they capable off, and whether you want to be buying their products at all.
Btw, if you don't get your refund let me know and I'll send you an email list of their executive team and their emails.

Fraudulent charges
On April 2nd week I received a call from glow.com asking me to check their website for free sample and they said it is 'free' and there will be no indirect charges other than the shipping fee. I gave my credit card and they charged only the shipping fee and sent the product on April.I used the product and did not find it to the standard they claim so just left it aside and never planned or ordered from them anything.

However, today I received a package from glow.com with another set of mini sample size same as the free sample they sent on April and an invoice for $80.But I then noticed that glow.com has charged $100 for the first sample they sent on April .I called customer service who claims that they sent an email along with my initial 'free sample order' where it says $60 will be charged after 30 days if the package is not returned and shipping tax etc.. totaled to $100. I have sent them a note that I will take this complaint to consumer court if they do not refund all my money except for the first free sample's shipping charge. This is a complete spam. They do not tell you what you are agreeing for and they keep charging your credit card every month without your knowledge.

Fraudulant Charges
Glow.com said in their advertisement that I could get a free sample of Raw Natural products for only $4.95 shipping and handling. They sent the product which looked like samples and then charged my credit card $90 WITHOUT my consent after a few days saying that I was supposed to return the products in their packaging if I didn't want to buy them at retail price. THEN, in addition to this, they sent me another shipment of the same products a month later without my consent and charged my credit card AGAIN! They then state that they cannot refund my money for the first shipment at all but can give me a store credit as long as I return the second shipment of items ( I obviously do not want a credit - I want my money back!). This is definitely a scam meant to trap people by charging their credit cards without their consent. In the fine print they say all this, so they claim it's legal! Definitely a bad company to avoid!

Fraudulent advertising offer
Glow.com free trial offer for their skin cream is a scam. After paying $5.95 for the free trial, they are now billing me $78 for it. Their under-handed method of billing constitute fraud. Their product, by the way, is a cheap moisturizer which can be had for $1 at Target.

article about glow.com on Business Store Business website
FYI:
I submitted a complaint earlier ("Beware of FREE samples from Glow.com").

I found an article about Glow.com that I thought my coharts caught by Glow.com's deception, and perhaps others who are checking them out, may be interested to read.

The article is on the Business Store Business website. It appears to be a legitimate article and I see no reason at this point to suspect the website itself of being associated with Glow.com. In fact, because I assumed they were just doing their job and simply reporting on the company, I submitted my concerns to the editor. (Here's the url for that page if you also want to also let them know your story.)

The url for the article is "http://www.beautystorebusiness.com/profiles.php".

Beware of FREE samples from Glow.com
Coupon from Glow.com said FREE SAMPLES: pay only $4.95 for shipping.

When the samples came I could tell immediately that they would not work for my skin and never even opened any of the products.

About a month after receiving samples I received a box of products which I didn't order. I wrote Glow.com and told them I didn't order any products, I was not going to pay the postage to send it back, and to not send anymore.

About a month later another box of products arrived. This time I had not opened it so I decided to take it to the post office and "return to sender".

Yesterday my husband asked me, "Wasn't that company that sent you stuff you didn't order "Glow.com"? I affirmed it was. "Did you end up ordering something from them?" "I sure did not", I said. "Well, there's a withdrawal from our checking account from Glow.com for $66.45."

Further investigation found a total of 4 charges from Glow.com for $289.35.

"Customer Service" maintained that their policy is clearly laid out in the paperwork I received with the samples (which I never read because I wasn't interested in the product) and failure to cancel membership within 30 days would result in a $90.00 charge and more product. Every 60 days thereafter, product would be sent and I would be charged $66.45.

I told them MY policy was not to order products I didn't like...I didn't like theirs...and therefore I didn't order theirs...and demanded a refund for all monies that had been charged without my instructions. The "customer service" representative repeated that Glow.com did not issue refunds. I then requested to speak with a supervisor. I was told that the supervisor had already reviewed my account and no refund would be issued. I said that was unacceptable and requested to speak with the supervisor's supervisor. I was told that someone would call me back. Guess what? You got it. No one ever called.

Beware of FREE samples from Glow.com. You can't afford them!

Security
When I received my order my log in and password were included. There were two different sheets, however, the second sheet did not belong to me and had someone else's log-in and password on it. Since this company has credit card info, it would probably be easy to scam and falsify an order. I have requested they remove my credit card info. Will see what happens.
