Commercial fraud, and manufacturing defects
We are Egyptian company, we bought a truck Chevrolet brand NQR Model 2011 and in January 2011 Exhibition (Alha Wii) for cars.
But the motor car damaged after several days of their purchase was recorded among the car only 3000 km (three thousand miles)
When we went by car to the power of attorney (Mansour Chevrolet) changed their half, no new motor., But it still exists despite the frequency of more than 15 times the power of attorney and that the disadvantages of the motor and cooling cycle.
When we demanded the company replace the defective car to another car sound technical deficiencies can not be condoned. The response of the power of attorney that this issue is the (GM).
We went to the factory in Egypt (GM) and meet with a professor / Naji Said, director of after-sales service, which in turn, refused to replace the car for another.

Do not transfer large amounts or you will be charged 3% on that whole amount no matter what the fine print says
I paid off my wife's high interest card with one of the checks sent to me by the GM Card.
The fine print states that there will be a 3% fee on the transfer amount with a $15 minimum and a $35 maximum.
I did a transfer for $1, 800. But I was charged $54 fee.
That is 3% of $1, 800, not the promised $35 maximum.
I called customer support and after several "Please wait on holds" from the representative, I was finally told, "It's 3% on the total transfer and there is nothing she can do".
She would not even acknowledge -- and even denied -- the $15 minimum and $35 maximum as stated in their own contract written in fine print.
I have several examples that can be published.
Do not transfer large amounts or you will be charged 3% on that whole amount no matter what the fine print says!

RE: Complaint Against: GM / General Motors
To Whom It May Concern:
Recently I was influenced to purchase a Chevrolet LSX-454 engine for my 2010 camaro based on information in print and in person from Dr. Jamie Meyer, the Product Integration Manager for GM Performance Parts.
Here is what influenced me (with web address’s as proof):
ONE: Dr Jamie Meyer of "GM" states in print that if you put a “power adder” on the lsx-454 you’d quickly create a 1300 hp street car.
MaxChevy Magazine Volume III, Issue 3, Page 52 Dr Jamie Meyer Interview “LSX 454... With a power adder on that, you’d be able to quickly create a 1, 200 or 1, 300 horsepower street car.” http://www.maxchevy.com/features/interview/iii_3-meyer-3.html
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TWO: Dr Jamie Meyer states “In Person” to Jannetty Racing Enterprises Inc (the shop I used for my automotive work) that its ok to put a “power adder” on the lsx-454 to make our 1150 horsepower goals.
Jannetty Racing Enterprises October 6-9 2010. LSX Shootout-O'Reilly Raceway Park - Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr Jamie Meyer was personally asked by the owner of Jannetty Racing Enterprises Dr Meyer’s thoughts of using A LSX-454 with a “supercharger/power adder” to make only 1150 horsepower in my 2010 camaro.
Here is the quote from the owner of Jannetty Racing Enterprises: Last October at the LSX Shootout My Booth was directly across from the GMperformancparts Display where I had the Pleasure of Meeting and talking with all of the guys over there one of them being Dr. Jamie Meyer, whom I ran this Idea past, ( I have to respect the man and his Position in the Industry) While we stood over the LSX454 Crate engine on display we discussed our Idea, He was All for it, and stated it would make a Great 12-1300 HP Street Car, and I should let him know how it worked out.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THREE: 2011 GM Performance Parts Catalog.
2nd To The Last Page:
“Because our new LSX blocks take the LS-series to the extreme, It’s engineered to take over 2000 horsepower”.
Here is a sampling of more references in the GM performance parts catalog:
Second Page, Not Page Two: “A bomb-proof LSX block”
Page 186: Lsx Block Max Horsepower Rating 1500+
Page 192: “1700 horsepower turbo engine for an Outlaw drag racer, the LSX Bowtie Block is the foundation”
Page 213: LSX-454 Pistons “dependable performance, even with high boost (high boost is a power adder)”
2nd To The Last Page: “Because our new LSX blocks take the LS-series to the extreme, It’s engineered to take over 2000 horsepower”.
Here is the link to the 2011 GM Performance Catalog:
http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/_res/pdf/GMPP_Catalog_2010.pdf
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FOUR: “Magazine Article Written By Dr. Jamie Meyer” SuperChevy May-2007:
For those interested in big nitrous systems, large superchargers, or twin turbocharging, the LSX is the block for you. (Note: these are power adders) http://www.superchevy.com/technical/engines_drivetrain/completebuilds_testing/sucp_0705_lsx_engine_build/index.html
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Up to this point I have:
(1) Dr. Jamie Meyer in a magazine article saying adding a “power adder“, 1300 horsepower can be quickly achieved.
(2) Dr Jamie Meyer personally telling the automotive shop that worked on my camaro that a “power adder” on my motor to make 1300 hp and is a good plan.
(3) 2011 GM Performance Parts Catalog stating the lsx block is strong enough to handle over 2000 hp.
(4) 2011 gm performance catalog has many references about the LSX-454 block being able to handle 1500 plus to 2050 horsepower.
(5) Magazine Article Written By Dr. Jamie Meyer endorsing “power adders“.
(6) After all of this research, a reasonable person can assume its safe to make only a relatively small 1048 Horsepower which is approximately ½ of Gm’s horsepower claim.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FIVE: I purchased the engine and the lsx-454 is received by Jannetty Racing Enterprises, one of the most respected automotive shops on the east coast. The engine is installed in my 2010 camaro. The camaro is loaded on a scientific measuring and monitoring device call a dynamometer for final tuning. On the dynamometer the engine makes 1148 horsepower (½ of the “GM performance parts” catalog claims of over 2000 horsepower.
The lsx-454 block experienced a catastrophic crack at only 1048 horsepower! The engine’s life span was only minutes!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SIX: Mr. Dee Turner of GM calls to inform me that I voided the warranty by putting a “power adder” on the engine. I told him that the “power adder” was sanctioned by the big boss, Dr Jamie Meyer verbally and in print.
Even if this engine never had a warranty, it should be replaced because of an obvious defect.
The engine is clearly defective because “GM performance parts” catalog clearly states on the 2nd to the last page: “Because our new LSX blocks take the LS-series to the extreme, It’s engineered to take over 2000 horsepower”. My engine broke at half of this “over 2000 horsepower” claim!
How can I denied reimbursement? THIS IS NOT A WARRENTY CLAIM, My claim is the engine block was defective. Even if this engine never had a warranty, it should be replaced because of an obvious defect.
At the very least this is a defective engine block because of its inability to survive at only 50% of the advertised claims of Dr Jamie Meyer and GM . At worst, this engine has been misrepresented by Dr Jamie Meyer and GM .
I look forward to your help in this matter.
Best Regards,

ABS breaks
Gm has a recall do to low speed sensores located in the front hubs of Chevy trucks 1999-2002.
I have had problems with my2002 Silverado breaks from the day I bought it. It was one of those
quality used trucks. The dealer took care of one of the break problems shortly after I bought it.
But a chatter has always been there. it was in winter when I noticed it the most.
I thought it was the ABS adjusting the breaks as needed for each tire on the snow and ice.
But no. It stayed and got worse. I almost hit a building while parking. (close call)
A friend of mine said he has heard of the problem and to check on line. I found it.
So I called the dealer about the recall and the service manager said the recall was already fixed.
How can this be? I thought a recall fixed the danger.

2010 Chevy Malibu LT2
I have a 2010 Malibu that has abnormal noise on the right side undercarriage. Once heard two or three big banging knocks in the right wheel well area. Also has a vibrating, bobbling, noise that sounds like it is coming from the right wheel well area. Sounds like something is loose. Took to Bowman Chevrolet in Clarkston Mi twice. First time they said they found a badly fitted wheel well liner which they replaced. Said it was knocking around. Drove it home happy the problem was fixed as I like the car ... but then heard the vibrating, knocking, bobbling noise on the right side. Took it back in several days later (after holidays), took tech for a ride, he acknowledged he heard the noise, thought it might be a bushing, but a minor problem. Next thing I know their service department is saying they could not duplicate the problem and they test drove 3 other 2010 Malibu's at their dealership and they all made the same noise, so they are calling it a normal noise for Malibu's now!! Unbelievable! I am so disappointed! I wanted to buy an American nameplate and support GM's comeback ... so I bought their best reviewed car ... and now here we go with unacknowledged problems and the old GM runaround. I thought it was the new GM! It's problems and service like this that caused people to abandon their products and buy Toyota's and Honda's in the first place. Hey GM!!! I like the car but w/o the noise. Are you going to do anything about it???

Will not honor warrenty
Recently as Aug. 2010 ordered new crate motor from Scroggins Dicky for my 2000 GMC Sierra. After a local repair shop installed motor, used them before and had no problems, a serious tapping in the motor from the first start of the engine has been a problem. Several attempts to remedy the problem, have not changed the the situation. So I had the vehicle taken to the local dealer, and at my expence the dealer will look into the problem. Only I have about $4500.00 invested in this LS6 motor and don't believe I should be out more cash to repair a crate motor. Nothing was done internally to this motor, other than the oil pan was changed to fit my GMC. Now the dealer wants more cash to fix a problem that they claim was a result of the oil pan change. The warrenty isn't worth the paper it was written on, and as a life long chevy fan, I can now see why the government had to bail out these loosers. Don't bother trying to upgrade your GM its not worth it, go and buy a FORD.

Outsourced Customer Issues
I took my Checy Trailblazer in for a repair, when done I found out I paid List price for the part. A part available at GM parts was $224.00 The deleare charged me almost $450.00!.
When I tried to go thru customers relations, I had a person from anpother country telling me tough luck, they do not have to do anything, They would not tell me if the dealership even charged within GM corporation guidlines?
I was then told that she is the final person, no other will help me. And although no one would claim they over charged me, they offered me a 25% discount on a repair I needed. Yes it was and idiler pully they wanted just under $200.00 to fix. I would save 25%!!! So I did what any real american would do.. went to the part store and for $19.99 purchased the part and put it on myself.. 15 minutes!
Bottom line is, no reason to ever be loyal to GM.. We bailed them out, and they outsource customer relations! The have no regard, have no backbone and let dealerships do whatever they want! after 2 generations of GM and my third new one, it will be my last! Thank you GM for showing me you are anything but an american company!

harrassment
DO NOT take a car loan out through GMAC. I am a parttime college student. If my payment is 2 days late, GMAC calls 3 times a day, every day. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING...GMAC will call you at work even though you constantly tell them not to. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM

Side door
I bought my GMC Savana 2500, in 2007
The side door, barn door, was allways hard to open, the hinges ae defective in my opinion, and is not only mine is all of them. Butbecause is very expensive for GM to repair, they tell the customers to lubrificate them, !!! nothing else to do, you have to do it if you want them to open !!!
I spoke with the manager, and he said there's nothing he can do, only to call GM and complain.
My doors is becoming harder and harder to open the door, the hinges almost come out of the steel, even when I put oil on it.
MY QUESTION to GM, do I have to drive my ( like new van ) with oil driping in the side, wich I allways have my clothes full of oil, because the Chev olds guys said " that's what you have to do it" . You know what I call that a bunch of stupid peolpe, in GM favour, because they know, this is a big problem, and the only solution is to redo the doors again.
I'm not a mechanic and I can see the hinges are done wrong!, WHAT KIND OF ENGINEERS DOES GM HIRES !!!
How I'm going to open this door, since you need two strong arms to open it ! who's going to pay if the hinges comes out of the place, wich is going to happen soon ???? Why doesn't people tell GM that is their own fault, and they should recall all the vans to fix this problem, and rent a van to the person while in repair.
Do you want to buy GM VAN think twice...

never buy again
i have 05 montana, cluster went out and was replaced under warranty. i got the van back and kids wanted to watch movie. no sound came out of speakers and a code RSE off showed up on radio. called dealer back and cheduled an appointment to get it fixed. this went on for over a year and each time i was told they were in touch with gm tech support and they were close to fixing the problem. over 25 trips to the dealer and no fix. called customer support a couple months into it and was told that they called dealer and dealer was taking care of problem so my file was closed. the dealer stopped answering my calls cuz they finally closed the dealership. called cust. supprot again to see what to do and now that dealer is out of business i cant prove itwas gms fault. called again and told them to research and if the dealer was in contact with tech support there should be recods and also since i contacted cust. support before again records are there. gmcalled back and told me they found records and to start things off i needed to pay for a diagnostic, so much to my dsigust i did. customer support called me back and said district support taking over my file. they called me and said they are going to review my case and will call me back. well they did and told me a new radio will cost me $550 plus dollars and as always told me "sorry for the inconvenience" . gm has us bail them out and says f u back? this must be true cuz i told them i wont ever buy another gm, nor will my 4 kids, my 2 sisters, 1 brother, parents close friends... and anyone else tired of gm not making right wrongs they caused. all for $550 dollars which is a lot for me but nothing to gm. they are willing to lose that many future sales for $550. not too smart. i would not be pissed if th radio problem was my fault, but since it wasnt i am.
