I have been a GM leasee and owner for most of my life! My father is a retired GM Engineer and we have always been a GM family. I turned in my lease car, the salesperson at the Heidebreight GM Dealership in Romeo, MI told me everything looked fine! GM is now billing me an additional $ 209.00 claiming that the hood has a dent. It didn't have one when I turned it in. GM has pictures posted on a website showing this supposed dent and there isn't one!!! It is falonious. I have talked with an attorney, a claims adjuster at my insurance company and a collision man and they all have said this is a scam GM is doing. They have been hearing this. The insurance claims adjuster man couldn't believe it, he even said there is no dent!!! GM is charging just enough that it is not worth getting an attorney over, so most people are probably just paying it! We all need to get together and get this out in the open. We need to find out how many have been victomized so we can stop this!
