Refusing to send billing statement
#008 90 1125328
I have been advised my car has been paid off but your company states there was a late charge and has refused to send a statement to my home. It has also refused to take the late fee from the automated account which you drew from to take the payments these last FEW years. I have requested to spreak with a supervisor and held for several minutes only to have the call disconnected prior to one coming to the telephone. Do you want payment?

The worst of the worst
This company suck big time, lies, deceits, transfers, lies, lies... on whole for 20-30 min, rude, mean... something needs to be done, and soon, these people call you On Sunday, few min before 9, the ones that been there longer, really know how to hurt you. But what goes around will soon comes around, and this big company going to fall hard. Company full of liars, need one honest person at gmac, probably the cleaning crew. Gmac hired professional thieves to repo your car, then they steal your money to get it back, company full of liars. Gmac steals.

Gmac customer services
My son & daughter felt on very hard times, so the car was repo, I assisted them in getting it back, but that was one of the worse experience, the gmac customer service rep are heartless, the day we made payments, to get caught up on everything, they repo the car anyway, the manager, said it must had happen while we were on the phone. But after that we were told 5 different amounts, had to make 2 money different money gram, because they couldn't get it together, had to pay 425. oo for repo, 160 for storage of the car, (40 overcharge because no one communicate within the redneck repo company company. )another 75. fee, 40.00 key fee, then had to drive to Cape Giradrau to pick up the car at a vacant lock with a gate & lock, GMAC cars are alright, and my father retired from gmac get discounts, but I don't won't to deal with the worse CUSTOMER SERVICES REP ever, they need some serious training.

They overdrafted my checking account
My name is Matthew Ty Person. I made an automatic payment through Gmac Financing’s online payment system. I schedule the payment to be taken from my bank account on July 4, 2008 (the day my paycheck is deposited). Gmac withdrew the fund June 20, 2008. My personal checking account manager has written a letter (attached) to Gmac demonstrating if this payment was not requested automatically June 20th, my account would not have been charge the $210 it overdraft fees. Further, if Gmac would have taken out the money on July 4th, there would be no problems with my checking account which is currently in limbo at approximately negative $578.
I have contact Gmac about this. They did not call me back at first. I keep calling until I talked to someone, and after they asked me to have my bank manager write them the attached letter and fax it to their “Administrative Office” at 970-624-2781 for a decision. An office which does not take incoming calls I was told. The person that gave me the fax number then told me that I was wasting my time because since I choose to make the payment online, if the payment come out on the wrong date its my fault for using the online payment system.
I then asked for a letter stating this. She told me that was not possible if its not on one of Gmac’s letter “templates”. I asked for a letter that stated I requested a payment to be withdrawn from my account on June 20, 2008 and that was also impossible. I asked if anything she stated in the conversation could be sent to me in a letter, and she said that was not possible without approval by legal. Her name was Christy and phone number 316-652-6454.

Release of Lien - Original Title
I paid my car note with GMAC on time for five years. When I requested the ORIGINAL title to my vehicle, it has been over a month and I still have yet to receive it. I paid my car off three months ago. The bad part is that my car has been impounded because it was not registered with the state I just moved to. It wasn't registered with the state because they need the original title to register it... the original title that GMAC refuses to send. They have lied to me, deceived me and breached every duty owed to me. I am continuing to incur over $500 in storage fees as I wait on the original title. I get different excuses every time I call them. I am an attorney and I sent them a demand letter.

They won't let me make payment in person, say there are no payment centres
GMAC claims you can only make a payment by mail. They say that there are no payment centers, you can't even pay your loan off at the car dealership where you purchased your car.
When you try to contact them by phone, it is a joke!!! You get transferred from one person to the next, but they can't put you in touch with anyone in charge.
I guess you can come and get the auto, because I can't make a payment. So sad that corporate America is automated and we wonder why the price of everything is going sky high.

Bad experience
On March 10, 2008 I bought a new car. I stilled owed on my old car which was financed through GMAC.
My dealer sent GMAC a payoff check on March 12, 2008. This check came with all my information; name address and social security #.
GMAC posted this check to someone else’s account.
I spent a month trying to figure out what had happened. Finally I called my dealer and she called GMAC and straightened out my problem.
I had called GMAC several times and sent 3 e-mails. No one at GMAC would help me. My car is finally paid off, but now I am owed an over payment from them and fear I will never see it.
DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH GMAC. They are corrupt and incompetent. They do not care about their customers. I hope this paragraph helps others. I’m going to fight for my money and fight GMAC.

No response!
I have tried since March 1 to speak to someone other than customer service, since I cannot make my March 1 payment. Customer service gave me incorrect information as to who my acct person was and I spent two weeks, calling and leaving messages, faxing a message and then find out it was the wrong person. I have now been transferred to the right person for the last two weeks. Can't leave a voicemail, because their mailbox is full, I have faxed and emailed this person and there is no response. I am getting calls because I am late, I stay on the line, talk to customer service and then get transferred to a mailbox that is full again. How can anyone get any help. All I want is for a short sale package to be sent to me, which customer service said they would do a on March 3rd. Still haven't received it. I can sell but now without their help.
