Bad Company= Bad Reputation
I use to work for this company, so I do know first hand about what this company is all about, and it's not good news. That sucks, I hear so many bad things about this company now and then that it is very sad. So many layoffs and soooooooooo much negativity from this place. WOW!!! It just got so much worse. How could you short employees on their checks?????...At first when this company was small and they needed so much help noone could keep up with the amount of calls coming into the call center for customers to cancel there orders and help with any problems they had. What kind of company won't give you a chance to get your refund back because they can't even pick up the phone after an hour of waiting. The company tries to hide alot of things and everyones too scared to say anything because of getting fired. Maybe you shouldn't hire your best-friends to work for you. Or someone you went to school with just because they need a job. It's pretty sad this company ended up like this...really sad...

Total scam
This company is a total scam. In the end, you will end up with no product and out of your money. They will all have different stories, excuses as to why you do not get reimbursed your money back. And I am not talking about the shipping and handling. I am talking about the 79.90 they will bill you after your so called trial period. I am extremely upset about this.

People beware
I have been fighting with this company since March/April of this year trying to get the remainder of my refund back, only to be purposely "blocked" by them as per request of Molly Murphy, Head Customer Services. I have told her why I was not able to contact them earlier about my cancellation due to a diagnosis of cancer and recovering from the surgery I had undergone as a result, but they have turned deaf ears on me stating, "You had a contract and you did not fulfill it, therefore we will not be refunding the remainder of your funds." This is wrong because I didn't plan on getting cancer and having to undergo surgery to remove it. I have been fighting with them to get my full amount refunded and they have blocked me since. People beware. These are heartless, money grabbing people who could care less about your reasons for cancelling with their product as long as they can get as much as they can from you before you realize you've made a big mistake. I have reported them to the BBB, FTC, and the State Attorney General's Office. I want the rest of you to do so as well. This company must be stopped in the ways they take your money.

Unauthorized billing
The company, GNS, Inc. offers a product "Slim Seduction" (or others) ‘increase libido and lose weight'. They state throughout the merchandising screens and throughout the order screens, "free", "pay only $3.95 for shipping", "additional requests will be charged at $49.95 per bottle", etc., etc. It is only AFTER you have supplied them with your credit card number that on the receipt, it states that you will be billed $49.95: "Please note that in addition to what your credit card was charged today for your order, you will be charged $49.95 on June 5, 2008 as part of your 'try it before you buy it' offer". When you try to cancel, of course they do not do so, or claim to lose your e-mail or that they have no records of your call.

Good news though – be SURE to report them to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) for their files, as they use them as a marketing member AND to your State Attorney General's Office. Also, disoute the charges through your bank! Obtain a screenshot of the original order process by going through the order again (without actually placing it. If you have to, cancel your card).

Unauthorized billing
I agree with the rest of the posts in regards to this company. They falsely advertise 'free trial periods' of product and when you send it back they either deny receiving it or say they didn't receive it on time.

In my case they also doubled my order so they then charged my credit card for two orders at $78.80 a piece. The first order I placed said 'unprocessed' so I did it again and it processed so that's how they 'got me' for two orders.

The product was acai berry edge, which is totally bogus. It did absolutely NOTHING. I sent back three full bottles out of four and was charged a total of almost $160.00.

I have been going back and forth with them with the BBB complaint board and also disputed the charge on my credit card. The BBB complaint is filed but my credit card company said they couldn't interfere with 'return policies'.

This kind of crap seriously pisses me off!

false advertising
DON'T BUY PRODUCTS FROM GNS--YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Its website is full of gimmicks. The ticking clock on how much of its "free trial" product remains is a marketing fraud. The free trial offer has been ongoing for many, many months--but there is the persistent message that supplies are low so commit now! But supplies are never-ending b/c the free trial promise is a marketing tool to get your $. You will only have about two weeks to try the product (21 days officially, but that includes shipping time). Then if you don't return the product in time, you will be charged about $80! That is the whole purpose of the promotion, of course. Also, you will be signed up (often w/o being aware of it) for autoshipments of the overpriced products. SO PROTECT YOUR POCKETBOOK & IGNORE THE GIMMICKY PROMOTIONS OF GNS, INC!!

Please do not deal with this company. You can not contact them if you have a problem, like the one you will have if you order their so called free trial products. You Will be billed for them and then they auto ship more orders.Don`t do it! Hey, if the product worked no one would complain about these fraudulent business practises but it doesn`t.If you have gotten caught in their trap make a comlpaint to the Better Business Bureau.I had never made a complaint to them before and you can do it online and it is easy.

a-read me
The phone number for the company does work and has worked since March 2009. There was no wait time and I spoke with a person. The rules of the order are online but most people do not read them. They were also included on a sticker with the products and it does tell us the next charges and shipping. HOWEVER, most people do not read al lof that and think they are getting alot of pills for free-1st mistake. most people call to cancel their next shipment and think cancelling makes sure they cannot charge the $80-2nd mistake. The marketing on this product is very misleading. Most who pick7-14 day shipping do not get it until day 14 or later and then get $80 charges in 10 days. Those who do not receive anything still recieve charges and have the product reshipped to them. By this time the consumer is angry about charges and does not want this anymore, too bad - they are sending it out. YOU MUST SEND THIS PRODUCT BACK WITH A TRACKING NUMBER from the post office, or UPS. IF YOUR PACKAGE IS NOT SENT BACK WITH A TRACKING NUMBER - IT NEVER GETS PUT IN THEIR SYSTEM. It doesn't matter if your mail carrier swears they had to receive it, they will claim it WAS NEVER RECEIVED. If you send it back without their authorization number - THEY WILL NOT REIMBUSE YOU WITHOUT A FIGHT. Make sure you keep a copy of ANY number they give you - cancellation number, authorization number, the name of the person you spoke with. You need this information in case of any problems you may have.

business practice
GNS has tons of ads for ACAI Berry Edge and Slim Body products and now ResVer XP. I have seen tons of complaints about customers being charged when they know they have canceled. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION... You MUST keep a copy of the CANCELLATION NUMBER they give you. As long as you have that number, you will be fine. MAKE SURE YOU GET ONE and cancel BEFORE your auto-delivery is supposed to go out. As long as you do that, even if you do get shipped a product, you will be re-imbursed. They will try to get you to stay on the program, just tell them no thanks, if you don't want to and they will remove you. The $39.95 refund they offer after you are charged is above board, but make sure you get your reps name and rep ID or make them give you a conf
