The cooling system of the refrigerator is not at all good
The cooling system of the refrigerator is not at all good...not even water is getting cooled though the fridge is put at its coldest temperature...the fridge has been repaired on Jan 9 2009 because of the over cooling of the fridge. a part was changed that time because there was a fault with it..and now again there is a problem with the cooling but under cooling this time...

We are losing our confidence in Godrej
We had purchased a new Eon Godrej fridge on exchange basis on 12.04.08.from your Kolkata Main Show Room at Salt-lake, Sector 5 Complaint lodged about excess ice problem with icicles in the freezer on 11.12.08. Complaint no.566792. Your service mechanic inspected and diagnosed the problem and suggested that the freezer door is defective and needs replacement. We received Godrej SMS message on 16.12.08.stating "The spare part required for your appliance is being arranged from our head office. Please bear with us. We regret the inconvenience caused."
Since then we have made repeated reminders, but with no effect.
We regret to say that in spite of being satisfied customers for Godrej Fridge for last 25 years, now we are losing our confidence in Godrej.

Disconnecting my call without any proper information
I had ordered for C-9 model computer tables on 29th Feb 08, Visakhapatnam branch and given a cheque according to cost, where the company promised to hand over the furniture within 5 days. After that whenever I called them, there was no proper response and on 20th of March 08 I recieved a mail from then containing matter that material will be delivered within a week. Today it is 31st march 08. I called the store cheif Mr.C.Parthasarathy, such irresponsible that he is disconnecting my call without any proper information.

The refrigerator is not giving proper cooling
The refrigerator is not giving proper cooling. It was attended twice with temporary relief and the cooling (not freezing} problem is still there.

The AC had stopped working within a couple of months of purchase. I had sent a mail to Mr Gerard on 10th Nov stating the problem, because nobody answers the Godrej helpline and the local service numbers listed on their website are either no longer valid or remain unanswered(http://www.godrejsmartcare.com/dealer/servicemain.asp).
I followed up the mail with a phone call to Mr Gerard, through a number obtained by calling their Mumbai office. He promised to look into the matter. Within a week, two service men visited and checked up the ac and said the gas has to be refilled and that it will be done in 2 days. Since then there has been no response. When I called Gerard, he said again that he will look into the matter.
So here i am with a brand new ac that doesnt work - just because the company doesnt give a damn!

The dealer as well as the service center are least concerned
The refrigerator was purchased in November 2006 from the authorised Distributor. After a month, cooling gradually decreased and ultimately reached the baseline level. For many months the distributor and the service centre never bothered and after threats of legal action, changed the compressor. It worked for few days and now the machine is non functional again. It is not cooling at all. The dealer as well as the service center are least concerned.

Avoid Godrej & Boyce at all costs
I have purchased Godrej Refrigerator on 31-Jul-2007 and it’s not making ice in freezer compartment since the day I bought and so after informing the problem service engineer inspected the same on 14-Aug-2007 of which godrej smart care service card no.7H00074 dated 13-Aug-2007 saying freezer unit is chock up and needs repair, but I have denied repairing and asked for money back or brand new piece replacement, which they deny to do...

As nobody has turned up even to inspect the product, I feel I am duped by the vendor
I purchased a 260 Ltr double door Godrej refrigerator from M/s RK Electronics, Chikkadapalli, Hyderabad on 12/06/06. The same was delivered at 23:00 Hrs on 12/06/06. On receipt of the fridge, we observed many scratches in side and lots of dust and it appears that I was given a used or second hand fridge. Many calls to the vendor did not evoke any response. I lodged a service complaint with RK Electronics and the same was forwarded by them to Godrej Customer Service. I telephoned to Godrej Customer support on 15/06/06 who confirmed the receipt of complant and promised to depute their technician on 16/06/06 to inspect the fridge. So far no one had turned up (upto 06:22 Hrs 17/06/06). Godrej proudly mentions service within 48 hours.
As nobody has turned up even to inspect the product, I feel I am duped by the vendor and also by Godrej with a second hand / used fridge. I request for necessary help in this matter. Please also indicate the legal recourse available in such matters.
Any help is very much appreciated.
