Destroyed property
Without my knowledge, the homeowners association where I OWN my townhome, contracted Gold Lawn Service to trim hedges. I was sitting upstairs when I heard machinery on my front walk, I went running down the stairs to find thier employee attacking my chinaberry tree with a huge electric hedgeclipper. Its not a hedge. I ordered him to stop and asked him who told him to come on my property and cut my tree. He said his supervisor. I talked to another man. He said his supervisor told them to do it. I asked him about the mess and told them no one had my permission to cut anything on my property. They came back to my front porch which, btw, is way off the street, and blew out my flower beds and broke my cactus. I found another employee and talked to him and he said his supervisor told them to come over there and he didn't even know why they were there. I don't have any hedges on my property. I called the supervisor of Gold myself after getting the number from my homeowners association. He said he would come over here and see the damage. There is a huge hole in the side of my tree. Of course, he didn't show up. The part of my yard that is visible from the street is full of tall weeds and not one person from the landscape company has cut them but they have the nerve to come up and break and destroy my personal property that i paid for. My homeowners association also told me they had had numerous complaints. I pay a homeowners association fee every month that covers lawn care and I end up doing most of the work.
