Tires
After purchasing Goodyear tripletread tires 1 year ago and after being told how good they are by the goodyear dealer I am furious with bad quality product and an absolutely shameful customer relations department. After driving only 15000 ams on these 130000 rated tires the road noise became unbearable. I went to the dealer and was told the were cupped badly. I informed them they were rotated at 10000 but had no invoice for this. Goodyear told me and I quote"the tires being bad are a result of your negligence and are in no way covered". They then insulted me further by offering to sell me two more at at discount of 30% off what i paid just twelve months prior". When i reiterated i had rotated the tires i was sternly told anyone can lie including the ford dealership who told me they rotated them. I then informed the dealer and Goodyear customer service that i was never given warranty info for these tires and was never told I HAD to rotate the tires after 10 and produce documentation of said service. I will never shop goodyear again and urge others to do the same. SHAMEFUL on a cooperation to treat customers like this.

Repair work
As always I took my car in for an oil change and the free tire rotation (no issue). Once GoodYear finished the oil change I get a phone call saying your SUV needs $600 dollars of work. So I inquire into what the work is. Rear Brakes are shot, Rear Rotors need to be replaced (current ones cannot be reused) Brake fluid, and other fluids are bad. As well some joints need to be swapped out. On second guessing GoodYear I took my car to my local repair guy for whom I gave the GoodYear receipt to which listed all the suggested work. My repair guys checks the SUV against the list, and only the rear brakes were bad, and the rear rotors were able to be reused. All the fluids were fine minus the brake fluid, and no joints need replacements. In all $175 dollars with tax of work was done plus a carwash free of charge! Good Year is a ripoff do not buy into any other work Good Year tells you that your car needs without going to a local repair guy. I saved myself $425 dollars!!

Car is leaking scam
The store manager called me in the back to show me a puddle of clear liquid my car was supposedly leaking. he then informed me that my "intake" was leaking. When I asked what kind of liquid my intake was leaking he answered by saying it was a mixture of oil and coolant. Assuming he didnt realize my father is an ASE certified master technician that is only a phone call away, he quoted me a repair cost at $650. He said it was required to put new gaskets in and flush the cooling and oil system. I told him the car didnt leak in my driveway for the past week, he raised his tone and said, "well its leaking on my shop floor now isnt it" He told me it wasn't safe for me to leave with my car in its condition. I demanded my keys back and left. The car mysteriously fixed itself while parked in my driveway last night. No check engine light either. I would not recommend this store to ANYBODY! Find a local honest mechinc by asking locals who to trust. NOBODY will recommend these guys. Here is the number 434-385-9137. The mangers name is Tim. Women - Stay away from these scam artists. 434 385 9137

Auto repairs
Had my 19 yr old son take the car in for a wheel alignment... then they said it needed a tie rod replacement... then they said it needed a wheel bolt replaced.. then two.. from $70 alignment to $1100 of work. I had them replace tie rod, bolt set not available that day. When he took the car in, it just needed alignment, when he left, THE DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL WAS SO LOOSE it was barely drivable. Either they loosened it or it just happened to come loose while at GYear... he drove it back home and thank God he made it! I had my mechanic check it - he and I were both shocked to see how loose the wheel was - he tightened the wheel (impossible to do it the bolt was actually broken). Not only are they rip-off artists, they risked my son's life. Jerks.

This GOODYEAR location takes advantage of women and anyone not familiar with auto repair and the associated costs.
Be sure to get estimates before allowing them to proceed even if they already have your tires off for another reason.
They overcharge for parts and labor.
I was charged $1000.00 for less than 3.5 hours labor and I'm not even sure they replaced anything.

Scruplous sales practices!!!
On 11/11/10 I drove to this Goodyear because I had found a coupon online for $12.98. It was a great deal, and I thought worthy of driving a bit out of my way for. When I drove up, the sign displayed $12.98. I said to the guy in the shop that I had a coupon for $12.98. He said for me to give it to the guy inside the store. After 5 minutes of waiting, no one came. The guy out in the shop noticed and yelled for the guy to help. He didn't, so the guy from the shop had me write my info on the clipboard and said he'd pull my car in to get the oil changed. After about 5 minutes or so, after my car was alreday being worked on, the guy who was supposed to be workin in the store, "John". Finally came into the store. When the guy from the shop finished, he told me my oil change was done and so I went to the front for "John" to ring me up. When he did, he told me it was $28.08. I said, "No, I have a coupon." He said, it's not the correct oil weight for my Nissan Xterra and that I had to present the coupon up front. Of which I responded with, "I did tell the guy who worked on my car that I had the coupon and since you weren't up front working" there was no way for me to present the coupon to you. He refused to give me the $12.98 price, even though the guy in the shop, new I had that coupon, worked on my car and never said ANYTHING about me needing a certain type of oil for my vehicle. The guy said "well I can empty out the oil we just put in if you want then?" As if I can drive my car without oil in it! This was misrepresentation and horrible customer service. I insisted on the $12.98 price, but John was not going to budge and was EXTREMELY rude. Here is the deal, there are coupons every day for lets say $14.95 at NTB that you can get off line. This $12.98 was an even better deal, or so I thought. John was rude, didn't care, and I can't prove it, but I think he took advantage of me because I am a woman. Either way, what he did is sleezy, shady and I want a refund of the difference. This place should be shut down! How can they run a business like this? I had NO money to begin wtih, which is why I went to them. I never would have agreed to this oil change had they been up front with me. As far as I am concerned, it is not my fault that John did not communicate with the guy in the shop regarding the coupon I had. Their lack of communication should not be put off on the customer. False advertising, lack of customer service, and shady practices. This is the WORST service I have ever had!

UNPROFESSIONAL/RUDE
I WENT TO BEST BUYS TIRE CENTER ON 11/25/09 TO HAVE TIRES ROTATED AND BALANCED. I SPOKE TO GREG YEDIKIAN ABOUT SERVICING MY CAR . GREG ASKED FOR THE KEYS AND HE PROCEEDED TO CHECK MY CAR OUT. HE TOLD ME MY REAR TWO TIRES WERE NO GOOD AND HE COULD NOT ROTATE THEM, BUT HE WOULD BALANCE THEM. I TOLD HIM IT SEEMED AS IF I HAD NOT HAD THOSE TIRES LONG ENOUGH TO BE WORN OUT GREGWENT TO COMPUTER AND PULLED UP MY HISTORY ON MY TIRES, HE TOLD ME THAT I HAD 42000 MILES ON CAR WHEN 2 TIRES WERE PURCHASED IN 2004, 2 MORE TIRES WERE PURCHASED IN 2006 WITH 76, 000 MILES. GREG BECAME VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, HOLLERING AT ME IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS INSIDE OF HIS STORE. I WAS SO EMBARRESSED I JUST WALKED OUT OF HIS STORE AND GOT INTO MY CAR. HE CAME OUT AFTER I GOT INTO MY CAR AND SAID THAT I HAD UPSET HIM BY SAYING THAT I HAD PURCHASED TIRES A YEAR AGO THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID. REGARDLESS OF WHAT I SAID OR WHAT HE THOUGHT I SAID DID NOT WARRANT HIM TO BE SO NASTY TO ME. MY NAME IS ROBERT LEE 17721 LYSANDER DR CARSON, CA.90746 310 6377630 OR 310 4365019 (CELL)

RIP OFF
i have been member with AAA for last three year, recently i have inform regarding the promotion about " Car month Service Package"
so i contact the store Meyerland GoodYear
10532 s. Post Oak Rd
houston, tx 77025
713-729-2400.
i got this store address through memeber service that this is a partcipating store. so i call the store they told me i can fax the copy of the coupon the store manager name john Camil( i am not sure about the last name because the manager hangup the phone on me) said he doesn't know anything about this. so i called member services again they fax me the coupon of the promotion since there is no coupon, i call them again they said we have to have a orignal copy i explain to the store manager that there is no coupon it is just a promotion runing. he said he doesn't know anything about this so he didn't want to honor the fax copy either. fine long story short the manager was really rude to me not only that wouldn't believe me to begin with after getting the fax promotion sheet he still denied the coupon. well my husband got the work done whatever he need. i want to make sure AAA understands that i love AAA services but if these are the type of people AAA likes to deal with i dont know about being a member . i personally love AAA my husband got the membership since 11- 2005 i like the service so much that i got my two auto insurance with AAA too, i was also thinking about doing rental property insurance. but at this point i am just not very happy about this process ! at this point i do want some sort of action taken against this complain!

service ordered, not delivered
I paid for an oil change and tire rotation. Car was parked outside after 20 minutes and I questioned whether the tires were rotated and was told they were. I left and looked at lug nuts when I got home. They were still dusty with no marks. I then remembered my car has locking lug nuts and the device used to remove them was still in my second home. I called the store mgr and he had no response. I called Goodyear and got the runaround. Now a year later they are backing the store manager. Why would I lie? Now they've really irritated me and I want others to beware of the potential rip off. There are too many auto service centers out there that will rip you off if they can. This appears to be one of them.
