After discussion with sales rep that made promises that they would increase visitors to my website and supply me with data and analytics in order to evaluate the success. The verbal agreement was for one month then he would call me and reevaluate the search terms. This was interpreted my me as no other payment would be incurred until we communicated again. At no time was the phrase "reoccurring charge" mentioned. Of course it was buried in the small print of a 7 page agreement. The services promised were never received and no communication was further established. When I received my next credit card statement there was a charge for services.
When I called them they were very rude to me and said that was the agreement and that is just the way it is. They revealed that it was up to me to cancel according to the 7 page agreement. This was misrepresented during the initial sales call. This is one of the oldest tricks used by these types of companies. They told me they would not refund my money and denied saying anything in the initial conversation that misrepresented reoccurring payments.
