Google Profits Reviews

they have taken out money from my account that I never authorized. I NEVER was told I would owe anything other than the $1.97 google profits CD
I have had $47.50 taken out of my account twice and $99. once without my ever giving them permission to do so. I did not buy anything other than a CD that was sent for $1.97 and that was all I agreed to. I tried calling the number on my bank statement last month but it was a bad phone number. This month when I again got charges I did not authorize the number was for Google profits.

This is a SCAM!
I ordered an informational CD from these people and only authorized a charge of $1.97 to my credit card. A few days later I am charged an additional $47.50 on my card. I never authorized this second charge! They claim that this information was contained in their terms and conditions which is a absolute lie! They never revealed this information and the stupid CD they sent certainly did not have any information concerning these charges and no other information period for that matter. This is a SCAM plain and simple! I have already turned this over to the BBB, The Attorney General of Utah and Rip Off Report. I despise these kinds of deadbeat bums and I will do everything in my power to put them out of business for good!

charged without authorization
Went on google profits site and acknowledeg $1.97 s/h for a CD to be charged to my credit card; THEN google stated a 7-day trial period and I would be charged an additional $47.50 per month. I tried to cancel because I did not acknowledge this $47.50 amount but it had already gone through. I then called and told them about the above and to cancel and they said it would be cancelled. Last week someone from google called me to see how the program was working and I told them the above and he said it would be cancelled. Today I called again and they said they have no record of it or the cancellation #; I was not given any cancellation #. She said she would put in the request again and to call Monday because it would take a few days to get the check. I told her if Monday it was not debited to my account, she would hear from my attorney. She kept telling me it could not be cancelled. I did not authorize the $47.50 but they had charged me anyway.

Credit Card Theft
The site offers a CD for $1.97. Don't buy it!!!

They don't send the CD & then they take your Credit Card & without your permission, put you on a monthly charge for their services, which still have not been explained, for $47.50!

Go to the BBB for Phoenix Arizona. 98 complaints of which NONE were responded to by Wade Winger or any of his people. Which tells me they don't give a damn about you or your complaints.

Unauthorized Debit of Funds
I too was one of the latest victims of this scam. I was intrested in making a little extra money, saw the ad and decided to check it out. What a mistake! I authorized a debit of $1.97 for a informational C.D. It took about three and one half weeks to arrive. I viewed it and put it aside thinking it wasn't for me. That was about a month ago.

Yesterday, 08/25, while checking my bank account, I discovered that these wonderful folks had the gall to help themselves to $99.00 of my hard earned money. I promptly called the Customer Service department to find out who authorized that payment but got nowhere. I then cancelled my account and informed the representitive that I would be expecting a refund within 24 hours back to my account. She informed me that that charge was nonrefundable.

My next comment to her was that the act of unauthorized withdrawal of money from ones account is illegal, and if the money is not returned to my account, I would go ahead and file a complaint with the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, as well as the States Attorney's Office. She promptly cut my call at that point.

Just a great company to work with!!! I would urge any one whom has a similar experience with these people to also lodge a complaint. When dealing with this band of theives, try to be civil, and just know that after you make your complaint they won't be in business long.

Scam
Google Profit runs and ad online which leads one to believe that they are Google.

They offer to send a CD which outlines how one can make money online using Google. The cost was $1.97. I did order it, and shortly after receiving the CD, a Charge of $47.50 was on my account. I called the number on the outside of the CD envelope and spoke with a very controlling, non-listener who claims that I clicked a button stating that I had read the terms which clearly stated that I would be charged $47.50 regularly. To me, it was nowhere on that site, and if it was, it was in such small letters, and so obscured, that no one could have seen it. When I complained to her about this practice she became really beligerent, and authoritative. I asked for a supervisor and was told there is no one that I may speak with. If I have any complaints I deal with her. She said that they are not Google, and not affiliated with Google. She refused to refund my $47.50, but grudgingly agreed to cancel any future charges. They said no need for a website, but you must use Clickbank, then reading the requirements with Clickbank, it seems that you must have a website, and it must be hosted. When mentioning this she said "well we are not Clickbank!"

Hope Google is aware of this scam.

unfair charges
Ordered google profit software for $2.95 and then got a 7.95, 9.95 and 59.95 charge. No software just automatic sign up to all these crazy monthly accounts and charges. This is such a scam as I did not authorize any of these other ventures my credit card info! Trying to get off these lists and get a refund but we will see????

Charges without authorization
Agreed to purchase for $1.97. No indication of further charges without my authorization. Had to call my bank to understand from whom the charge originated. When called number associated with merchant; no response. Finally, was able to cancel after two charges of $47.50 (as a monthly charge) and one-time charge of $99.00 for the product.
Called number on product...no results.
Called one number on website...no results.
Called number under billing questions...was told I had agreed in the terms and conditions of the initial purchase; however, could not direct me to the terms and conditions statement that I had signed. Initial monthly charge made within 14 days; one-time charge made within 30 days; second monthly charge on same cycle as initial monthly charge (30 days later).
I cannot find the terms and conditions on the website.
I am disputing with my bank.
