Found a link that claimed to be a way to make money with Google, and from the looks it seemed to be a part of Google ad-works. I signed up for a "home-kit" that was supposedly to be sent in the mail. After you sign up nothing happens and since it was a dead end I started over and this time went straight to Google. I forgot about the dead web page until a $129.99 charge appeared on my bank account! The number by the charge was a nonworking number. Realizing right away that I had been scammed I called the bank and they researched and found another number which I called. A "customer care center" answered and I asked what they were and why my card was charged. They claimed that I had accessed their site and that there was 3-day trial and I should have read the "terms and agreements." I told them that I was never informed of any terms or anything that was remotely to do with a charge of any kind. They said that these were sent in a e-mail that they sent to me which I never saw and even checked my Spam. Nothing! Absolutely nothing. They refused to refund the money and were very rude which set me off. I cussed and raised all the hell that I could to no avail, then realizing that I was wasting my time. I was SCAMMED!! These people are true SCUM of the earth. They are stealing money from the poor who are struggling financially in these hard times. I have yet to get my money back. They threatened me with, "We win 100% of our depute cases." The Gaul of these maggots!! I filed a complaint with the BBB and had to cancel my bank card and am waiting on the bank to hopefully get my money back which is my Christmas money by the way. I am now making clay ornaments for my family members cause I now have no money for the Holidays. I hope they choke on turkey and fruitcake. Is there anything that can be done to stop these people from ripping off anyone else??? Or maybe to get my Christmas money back?
