Scam
Booked a tour to Peru/Machu Picchu with Gotmyfare in Alhambra CA in October, tour to depart April 20th, 2011. Received no acknowledgement of credit card payment for tour and additional cost for hotel/train upgrades. Contacted Juan Rivera on April 1st, was told info/vouchers would be sent out two weeks in advance of departure. Two weeks came and went and nothing from Gotmyfare, which started a series of unanswered phone messages and e-mails.
Internet reviews of this organization are pretty discouraging as to the reliability of this travel organization. Don't understand why Better Business Bureau rates them at an A-!!!
Apparently Gotmyfare has now closed its doors, leaving me, my cousin and I'm sure many others without a trip and without their money. Guess the name Gotmyfare should have been a clue as they "got my fare" and I got nothing in return.

Took my money and no trip
I had given this company money in November, 2010 for a trip to Peru that was supposed to start on April 20th.this was a trip I had wanted to take all my life to Macchu Picchu..I never received any of my travel documents nor did my friend. We had been told that we would receive them via e-mail two weeks ahead...I was reassured on 4 different occasions by "Juan" that they were running late because of all the extra business they had for Easter. "Juan" promised that I would receive the info on Mon, April 11th at the latest.
I spoke to Juan on the morning of April 11th...he reassured me that the documents were coming that afternoon...no documents came. I tried to call multiple times that afternoon...the phone just went to music...same thing the morning of April 12th...no answer..and no answer since. I was able to get a refund from my credit card company...this company is fraudulent at best and needs to be put out of business if they aren't already.
DON'T GIVE THEM ANY MONEY...it is a scam and GOTMYFARE.com is dishonest!!!

Did not provide tickets timely
I purchased 12-day trip to Peru Jan. 2011 to leave LA 4/20/11. I had several calls confirming trip &emails, w/confirmation of flight. E-ticket & other tour/hotel information was to be emailed 2 weeks prior to departure, but as of 4/12 nothing received. I called several times in the previous two weeks and was told all is OK, but no replies to my emails. I was told info would be sent to me on 4/11 for departure on 4/20, but nothing comes. My call to airline on 4/12 showed reservation made by not paid for. Cannot get through to Gotmyfare on 4/12. I called the general manager Marvin Espinoz 626-283-5652 and only get voicemail. They show travel association logos on website IATAN and ASTA and I called them on 4/12 and was told GotMyFare is not associated with them. No phone line is answered but their website is up. I fear this is a scam, business unresponsive, beware!!!
