I went to a website about 3 weeks ago and it said FREE CD, just pay shipping and handling fee of $1.98. I did not see anything else on the site that would cause me any concern. So I ordered the FREE CD. Was charged the $1.98 fee, which was authorized.

Now, I am charged $69.95. UNAUTHORIZED. There was no contact information given on my online bank statement as to a phone number, just Reg.Net whom I did not recognize. I called my bank immediately, and authorized them to cancel my Visa card and issue me a new one. Well, that did not work. The money came out of my account anyway, 5 days after canceling the card. At this point, I am furious. I called my bank and filed a claim through them, called Reg.Net at the number my bank gave to me. I was informed only then, that the $69.95 is a monthly fee. To use a CD??? Especially a CD I never received??? I don't think so!

I was told by Reg.Net that they would contact the company on my behalf to get a refund within 2 business days. If I don't receive any communication in 2 business days, I am to call Reg.Net back and they will refund my money within 5 business days.

This is a standard Bait and Switch tactic, which is highly illegal. I will wait and see if I get my money back within the next week, and if not, I will contact the police and file a report with them, and contact the FTC, BBB, and the States Attorney's Office.

This is Fraud in the 1st degree, and these people need to be stopped!
