Unauthorized Charge

After making an account with them in December, I decided not to purchase because I found a Snuggie at a local Walgreens. So, no shipping costs.

Fast-forward to June, I check my credit card bill online and notice a $35.85 charge from GPM*SNUGGIE. It is impossible to get to a live representative through their customer service, so I had to dispute the charges via my credit card. Thankfully, Chase Bank is fantastic in this capacity and they promised to take care of it.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO THESE SCAMMERS!

ORDER

I called to order some Snuggies. I put in my credit card onfo, but became so frustrated with the numerous hard sell of other offers I finally hung up. At no time did I authorize any charges. Had I completed the order and seen the shipping charges I would have opted out the process anyway because the shipping charges were close to $50.00. I know this because they charged my card without my authorization and shipped the order. I called UPS after the order was delivered and returned the order unopened. I also contacted the credit card company and disputed the charges. I was credited the cost of the snuggies but the company keeps billing almost $50.00 in shipping.I did not complete the order therefore DO NOT owe shipping charges. I also would like to know if it was legal to charge my credit card without my authorization. I never received a confirmation # or an email, phone call, snail mail, etc confirming an order.
