On 10-8-09 I ordered a gift online for a co -worker After I ordered the gift, it stated, I would receive a confirmation email. Before going to work on 10-9-09 I saw the confirmation email and it stated the gift would arrive too late. I called immediately to cancel the order. I was informed the stroller was in the shipping process, but that it could be refused and returned, and why don't I go and purchase another in case it wasn't on time. The gift did arrive and the mother to be wants to return the gift. Long story short, they will give store credit to the mother to be or she or I can return the gift but will not receive proof in any form that we returned the gift. I was assured a refund will go immediately back into my account. I questioned if there were a mix up with their end my $201.39 will be held in limbo while they investigate said return and was told i was correct. The link they sent me to for returns on their website looped me continuously back to their homepage.. I find it strange, I, being the payee, can't receive a cash refund or proof of return and am forced to spend the gift money at their store since it is unopened & has only been 3 days since receiving the product. What course of action do you suggest I pursue to stop this hostage situation?
