I would advise anybody to avoid the Granby Medical Center as a patient whenever possible. 7-mile clinic and the medical center in Kremmling are other options.

As someone who used to work at Granby Medical Center I know the following things occurred on a regular basis:
1. The cat-scan room was often not disinfected due to a technician who locked herself in there, which Robin Trainor (not Dr. Bohlender), director of the medical clinic, allowed.
2. The management refused to address at least one case where medical records were lost repeatedly or somehow missing, resulting in having to postpone an appointment for at least two weeks.
3. I was told by Robin Trainor that patients deemed to be unruly were asked not come back to the clinic. I was told I was not allowed on the property despite the fact there is no legally valid evidence I have ever been a threat to anyone. I was later told I could come if I had an urgent need, which I guess just means ER.
4. Garbage bags containing medical and human waste were repeatedly piled on top of the dumpster because it filled up regularly, since the management would never get recycling, no matter how many times they were asked. This is somewhat dangerous because wild animals are attracted to the smell of blood. Its only a matter of time before a windstorm blows those garbage bags off the dumpster and a wild animal leaves the waster strewn all over the place.

Although having missing medical records for 2 weeks and not being allowed on the property except for emergencies worked out fine for me, since I wasn't impressed with the doctor I saw there and I moved away, I know someone else might not be so lucky. Having to switch doctors or having to delay an appointment might cost someone else serious harm or death.
