Unauthorized charges
This scam has been making unauthorized deducts of $39.95 from my Discover card account since Oct 2008. Their phone line is always busy -- can't get thru to them. No provision on their website to contact them.

Unauthorized charges
Charges from Grant Academy started appearing on my credit card without my having had any contact with this firm. I'm grateful that Citybank's early warning system caught this fraud early on. However, it's a nuisance to have to close one account and open a new one.

Credit Card Fraud
An unauthorized fraudulent charge for $1.29 to Grant Academy showed up on my Visa card, along with other fraudulent charges from Apple I-Tunes, Blockbuster.com, e music.com, and some kind of online stamp website. This site appears to be a favorite place for people to place fraudulent credit card purchases.

Unauthorized Check Card Debit
On July 31, 2008, my account was debited for $1.29. The following message was on my statement: "CHK PUR GRANT ACADEMY 00 O 249 E TABERNACLE ST 800 4876803 800 4876803 NV 31Jul08 Trace# 181089050601 079005110." I have no idea what this means, but I did not authorize Grant Academy to withdraw any funds from my account. I would like an immediate refund. How can I contact the company? Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter.

Credit Card Fraud
My co-worker is on the phone now trying to get Grant Academy to issue a refund for $39.95. I browsed Grant Academy here and found these complaints. As I was reading through the posts, I noticed that a "Ryan R" is posting responses. His replies have phone numbers to call, but I noticed that he posts different phone numbers in his posts. My co-worker told me her Credit Card company gave her an altogether different contact number. This seems suspicious to me.

SCAM ARTIST
These people are stealing information and posting charges to credit/debit cards without authorization from the account holder. I don't know how they got my account information, but after looking at my bank statement, they made 2 initial charges of $1.00 and then $1.29. Something I wouldn't necessarily notice until reconciling my bank account, then today I happen to be checking and there was a charge for $39.95 to my account. This is supposedly for information on applying for grants, which I never signed up for. Please be aware and keep an eye on your accounts.

Check Card Fraud
Two charges from Grant Academy appear on my account. The charges were minimal but the point is...I didn't order anything so I am not responsible for the charges. The check card is now cancelled. There are so many complaints against this company I'm surprised it is not shut down.
