THEY DID THE SAME THING TO ME! THEY DRAW YOU IN WITH THE PROMISE OF GRANT HELP FOR A CHARGE OF $1.98 AND THEN CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD $69.95. I STOPPED THE PAYMENT WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND FILED A DISPUTE OF THE CHARGE. I WAS GOING TO TRY AND HELP MY GRANDDAUGHTER WHO WAS ADOPTED FROM CHINA AT AGE 11 THIS LAST JUNE. SHE HAS CEREBRAL PALSY AND CAN BARELY WALK. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM.

I wanted to order the disc they offered for $1.98. I understood that they were going to offer me memberships, etc. but on the web site all they wanted was some rudimentary info. the rest came by a phone call. During the call I told them that I did not want ANYTHING but the disc. I did not want any memberships, free gas, ETC. The phone seller agreed, then stated the acceptance of the disc was entry into their grant funding search education and assistance program for $69.95 per month, unless I called, or used their website within seven days to cancel. THEY NEVER SAID WHEN THE SEVEN DAYS STARTED. I thought it was when the disc was recieved. IT WASN'T! It started the minute the telemarketer they use on the other end of the phone mentioned the cancellation option. They told me I was informed of this at the time when I complained about the charge. They said they record all the conversations. THEY NEVER MENTIONED THE START TIME FOR THE CANCELLATION OPTION TO BEGIN. My bank suggested I toss my current credit card and they would send me another with a different number so these thieves cannot access my money. I called the Grant Funding Search people and stopped the siphoning of my funds, only to discover they put me in something called the 'Ideal Marketing Club'! I cancelled that immediately! SO I AM OUT 70 BUCKS. I am not even going to put the disc into my computer fearing some sort of back door or other theft device my be built into it!!! This site got high ratings when I googled a request for grant funding assistance, probably by the owner. A V O I D !

I received a call today from 888-584-0083, the customer service rep wanted me to pay $1.99 for S&H to receive at free Grant CD. However, I informed them I didn't feel comfortable just giving them my information over the phone and that since they had my email address they should forward me an email to process my request so that I'd have a paper trace. However, the sale rep became frustrated and tried to convince me that I was being foolish and it was only $1.99. Even after I informed him that just b/c he says he'll only charge me a $1.99 doesn't mean he will; he could charge me whatever he wanted. He went on to give me his name Nelson Lee (probably fake because he sounded Indian), his license # 4018 (whatever that is) and his number 888-210-2544. I told him that wasn't going to change my mind and I wasn't comfortable doing business him or his company. I hope this information helps you catch these heartless criminals. Times are hard for most of us but it appears that every keeps stealing from those who are suffering the most. Such a shame...when will it end. Jesus we need you!

Grant funding search presented itself as a FREE site all they asked is for 1.98 shiping and handeling fee. so I got my credit card statement today and they charged me 1.98 on 01/13/09 and a surprise billing of 69.95 on 1/23/09 I am appalled that someone thinks they have the right to charge my card without first informing me of this charge. No where did it state that there would be an additional charge. I am livid .This is not only a fraud, scam, misrepresentation; it is in fact THEFT. They need to be prosecuted and charged.DON"T LET THEM GET YOU TOO!

My husband and I were looking for resources to aid us in starting our own business. A lady called and offered us to buy a cd for helping us write a proposal for a grant, we agreed. The next week I called and declined the website access, the next day my husband checked our bank account and found there was a $69.95 fee, I called and they said it was because we did not call before 7 days and decline the website access. So basically for $70. 00 you can get on their website, to do I still don't know what!!! This company is a rip off, and a scam. I don't know how people do this to honest, hard working people. There has to be something somebody can do. This is not legal, and these people who started this company, and their employees need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
