unauthorized charges
Hey, I to was a gullable victim of the "$1.98 Grant Funding CD Scam". It sounded legit as it was a link posted on a site when I was looking to apply for unemployment. I never got a confirmation # via e-mail like promised, so weeks later when I had not recieved a CD, I checked my on-line bank statement to see if I had been charged. Well not only was I charged the $1.98, I was also charged $3.99 for a DBW *E-BOOK-BUY HOME??? I contacted my bank and they gave me a number to contact to dispute the charges and, or cancel my "so-called subscription". I called the number the bank gave me (1-866-315-3967) and actually got a representative on the phone. I was able to cancel my "so-called subscription", but they refused to reimburse me for the unauthorized chg. of $3.99 due to my neglect of reading "the fine print"! WHAT FINE PRINT!? WHAT THE F*#* EVER! The bank advised me that after doing so if I continued to be CHARGED by this company that it would be in my best interest to cancel my debit card and apply for a new one! The best they could do on their end was to flag my account that DBW is unauthorized by me of any new charges in the future. In other words, I had no recourse for reimbursement directly from my bank! (After reading the complaint board it seems I got off easy compared to other victims!) It has been ten days since calling and I have not been charged anymore...yet...HMMM...IT BLOWS MY MIND HOW EASY IT IS TO BE SCAMMED! YIKES!!! I hope this number will help in getting to the bottom of your plight.

I was offered an application for free grant money for any purpose i needed it for. They told me I could use the money to start up a new business or go on a vacation or anything I wanted it for including buying a new car. This grant from the goverment was used only for woman.
I obtained this information from their web site that listed all the oppertunities that were available for women. This included knitting and crochet grant for $500.00. I was even offered money into the hundreds of thousdands of dollars.
After i agreed to pay the postage for the application i received another phone call from the same company offering me a free trip. All I had to do was pay postage> I hung up on them., I was charged on my checking account a fee for Internation assesment . After going to the bank to find out what it was it was a debt to wealth club.com Thru the bank we called the sopke to someone to cancel this service which I knew nothing aboiut and now I have to close my account and start all over. I do not know how they got my info since during the time I started with this free grant money I got a new phone and new email.
What's the recourse, I also one of the lucky indivduals to recieve a unwanted email from the current Goverment.Who can anyone trust anymore.If you search item relative to Grants, I would think it's legit!
Does anyone know of any Class Action Suites against this establishment.I certainly would like to have all the money back.It's

No Good
I received the cd in the mail and immediately tried to log on, the good news and that I only lost $1.98, but that is money that I couldn't afford to just throw away. I have tried unsuccessfully to log onto the web site numerous times and can't get it to open us. So, don't waste your time or money on this cd, you will be ripped off. It's a shame you can't trust anyone anymore, I was just so desperate to try to find a grant to so I could go back to college. Thanks for letting me sound off!

faifure of notifcation of fee,s
upon recieving my cd and order confirmation # I didn't relize I would be charged another 69.00 after the 7 day trial period which wasn't mention on the order conf.# e-mail it wasn't until I tried looking up there web site that I came across this complaint site and that I became aware of the scam, so I cancelled thank you people there full of BS

withdrawl of $ from my account
went to website and read a story about a women who got a grant. there was a link to apply for grant and they told me it was free and i would only have to 1.98 in postage. two days later i check my balance and there was a credit for 69.95 which i didn't authorize. and when i got the the cd it won't even work.

unauthorized withdrawal
I purchased a "Free" CD on grant funding supposedly from the government and paid the $1.98 shipping. There was an unauthorized withdrawal from my checking account for $69.95 by this company. I told them repeatedly on the phone that I was not interested in purchasing anything. I want this money reimbursed immediately.

Unauthorized billing
I thought I ordered the grants funing search temp membership. I paid 1.95 for a info CD that I never got. Once you pay for the CD. You get a automatic confirmation with a code. You don't get an email confirming or reminding you of your access. I did it on teh 4/22 an 5/18 they took 69.95 stating that it was to be cancelling with in the seven days. I told them i will call every hour on teh hour for my money back. I talked to 2 managers and operators. THey keep saying they can't refund my money. I told them I am filing a complaint. THere is no reason why they won't refund when it is clearly not in their window nor in mine. I will keep calling. they are not honest and can not even mail me CD that I was suppose to get to research!!!

rip off
After sitting online trying to find a loan I came across this grant funding thing I thought that it would help me they charged me $1.98 for shipping i thought was a one time fee. The lady told me that the CD will arrive in a few days and that they were giving a 7 day free trial to learn how to write a proposal. I did not ever knew about a 70 dollar fee after the seven days plus i never got on the web site cause the CD had not came for 2 weeks after i paid the $1.98 that's not right i would like my money back plus I'm unemployed at the time so they took my last off of the unemployment card it seems that they r getting there bailout from us.

unauthorized money gone
I am trying to start my own business and have been looking into grants as a way of financing the start up costs. I saw the website for GRANT FUNDING SEARCH on several different sites and it was "rated" to be a good site - I'm not sure by who. I ordered a cd for $1.98 and told the man on the phone that i did not want anything else he was offering and i only wanted the $1.98 charged to my account - he said ok and quickly hung up. I received the cd (which was worthless) and then tried to go to the website which did not exist. I am now trying to dispute the charge and have cancelled my card and entire account. I wish I would have sen this website before ordering. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.

GOVERMENT GRANT
MY FRIEND WAS DOING ME A GOOD DEED AND PAID THE 1.98 FOR ME. THEY TOLD HER THAT THERE WOULD BE A SEVEN DAY GRACE PERIOD BUT IT TOOK SEVEN OR MORE DAYS TO GET TO US. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT THE CD, WE CALLED THE COMPANY TO GET SOME INFORMATION. THATS WHEN THEY LET US KNOW THEY CHARGED MY FRIEND 69.95. SO WHEN WE ASKED THE GUY TO LET US SPEAK TO A MANGER HE WOULD NOT LET US. THEN FINALLY HE PASSED THE PHONE TO HIS BOSS NAMED SANDRA VALDEZ. SHE TOLD US THAT SHE COULD NOT REFUND MY FRIENDS MONEY. THEN SAID THAT WE WERE JUST GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES AND SHE WAS GOING TO END THE PHONE CALL. SO WHEN MY FRIEND GOT OFF THE PHONE, SHE CALLED THE BANK AND TOLD THEM ABOUT THE SCAM. THEY CANCELLED HER CARD AND ISSUED HER A NEW CARD.
