Not right
I also ordered the 1.98 cd to see how to get free grants from Grant Funding Search. They charged the 1.98 to my account 1/21/09, sent me a cd that doesn't work and then on 1/29/09 charged another 69.95 to my credit card. I did not approve any additional charges. I can not get them by phone, I have tried to contact them by e-mail as the recording suggests, but every time I hit submit, it comes back as "ERROR". I contacted my credit card company and they said you have to contact the company and have them credit the charge before the credit card company can do anything and if after 30 days they don't, we can dispute it... This is just not right.

1.99 for CD that ended up costing me 49.90!
I ordered the Grant Funding CD for 1.98. The ad was very misleading! It lead me to believe that that was the only cost. A few days after I got my CD, they withdrew 49.90 out of my account. I called the toll free number right away and demanded to have my account cancelled and the 49.90 refunded to my account. Well, they cancelled the account but refused to give me my money back. What a scam! I am going to get hold of the FBI also. Something has to be done before more people are duped like I was. I also want them to pay me and everyone else back the money they took.

stealing of funds
ordered the c.d for $1.98.Was not informed that my 7 day trial immed. on clicking the button.Did not even recieve the c.d until after the 7 day trial period ended.Thought it started when I got the c.d.Tried calling several numbers.No one wants to give me back my money.If this is a government program that is for free grants, why do I have to pay $69.95 a month?

I got my money back
I have the same story as everyone complaining. Ordered a CD for less than $2.00 shipping only. Subsequent unauthorized charges to my credit card by other companies as well. I called my credit card company and filed a dispute for each unauthorized charge. I called each individual company who made the unauthorized charges. One company refunded my money and gave me a confirmation number. Upon finding this site, I followed the suggestion of one person and contacted the processing company for Grant Funding Search. They haven't handled their funds since April, however they did refund the April charge. I sent all information I could find to our state Attorney General. Within 5 days I had several refunds. As of today, a month later I received a money order for another refund. Why did they not just credit it to my account? This is also a trick advised my ccard company. Several additional charges have been refunded to my account. I began with $300.00 of unauthorized charges and am now down to less than $70.00.

unauthorized fees
Agreed to be charged $1.99 for disc which I received, now have a charge for $69.99 on my credit card. Repeatedly put on hold with attempts to contact them by telephone. How do stop the charges?

Fraud
Grant Funding Search called and woke me up and started with this
Fee Grant Money stuff. I was hesitant to give my credit card number,
and asked if there was a monthly fee and the answer was yes $49.00 per month.
Now I have to hang on the phone because I answered the questions and now from this Website I find it's a Fraud.

Unauthorized transaction
Ordered info on government grants and agreed to be charged 1.98 for shipping. They charged $69.95 out of my account. When I called to complain and get my money back the woman said her computer was down and that she needed me to call back in 1 hour.

unauthorized charge to credit card
online advertisment for grant funding cd for $ 1.98 pay only shipping and handling. They called to confirm my order and that a discount pkg would be sent and had 10 days to call and cancel, i never got the discount pkg and was told i was charged $ 69.95 because i didnt call and cancell within 7 days. No where in the ad, nor on the phone was there mention of being charged $69.95 the number given to me to call and cancel was not even a valid or inservice number .
With as many complaints as i have just now read about, , the credit card companies should be more helpfull in disputing these charges . with the economy as it is and the tough times people are facing right now.
But i am now having to pay for this scam.

refused to cancel my order
I looked on line into free governmentgrants and came accros the company known as grant funding search. After deceiding not to order the $1.98 processing fee for my free packet to government grants I cancelled my internet request. Somehow they obtained my cell phone number and continued to call me numerous times the next day. I called the nuber above and selected my cell number be placed on their do not call list however they continued to call. I eventually gave them my visa account number and was supposed to be charged $1.98. The woman I spoke to identified herself as Ms. Hailey Rodreques who inturn turned me over to her supervisor who failed to identify herself and she would charge my account $69.95 for some monthly updates of free government money. I told her to cancel my order but she kept insisting this company was not a scam. I hung up my cell phone after telling them to cancel my order and do not charge my visa account anything including the $1.98 cent processing fee. I feel this company will illegally use my account information to scam money from my account. Please Help Cancel this order. Thanks Rick Barkas 443-668-8471
