I am another victim of this company. Ordered a free CD and agreed to only pay $1.99 in shipping and handling, but my account was hit for $69.95 not the 1.99. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PEOPLE!!!

This company charges $1 for their 'free' cd, then uses this to authorize a membership charge if you don't cancel your free trial membership within 5 days. I looked for this gotcha before I committed, and could not find it. After I received the charge, and contacted their customer service, I went back to the website and found the terms, in small print and difficult to see for anyone with visual impairment. They refused to refund my $69.95. Now I want that plus $35 for overdrawing my account. I received no email or warning about the impending charge, if I wanted to change my mind. The terms and conditions are posted, but I don't think plainly, despite their protest, especially considering that many of the people checking out their service are people with visual difficulties resulting from disability. I've used computers and the internet for years, and still got caught.

I am trying to start a small business and I came across "Grant funding search" site. They said for a small fee ($1.98) I would get a cd containing information on how to apply for government grants. I would have to cancel my membership in 7 days not to get charged $70.00. I cancelled with in the deadline and thought the matter was closed. Then a charge of $47 showed up on my account from a company I had never heard of, let alone had any dealings with. When I called them they said that when I signed up with "Grant funding search" I automatically signed up for there program. I was mad as heck! I asked them to cancel it and refund my money. They said they would. After reading all of these other complaint testimonials though, I think I will just cancell my card and take the loss. I didn't see a single person say that they got the money back. I did see several say they were charged again. I would complain to the proper authorities, but it looks like this company has been getting away with this for over a year. The authorities aren't interested in stopping it. To all of you who say I should have read the "fine print": There was no option at any time to read any terms and conditions before or after the point of giving my card #.

My name is Charlie & they took me too. You guys BEWARE they are also hooked up with Carreward in Moorpark, CA & a Rewards Center in Moorpark, CA. When I called these people they wanted my card # again--I said i'm not going to be that stupid again-then they couldn't find me in their computer...AMAZING! You would think YAHOO & GOOGLE would do something. I canceled the CD on 3/20/09-they took the $1.98 out on 04/02/09--took money from bank on 4/19/09 & 4/20/09. I was told they would credit my account for $30.00 in 3 to 5 days (sure they will).

I, too, have become another victim of Grant Fund Search and Ideal Wealth Builder Club. Seems like they have a pretty good scam going for themselves. Since my granddaughter will be going to college this fall, while searching the internet, I found Grant Fund Search and thought I might get some use of a CD that they were offering for $1.98. This was supposedly the cost of shipping it to me. I did authorized a charge for $1.98 to be debited from my account but have never received their CD. Now my bank account is showing a charge of $69.95, which I did not authorized. According to the 'Customer Service' rep, I was told that this was non-refundable as I had ample time to contact them to cancel my membership which I didn't even know existed. This rep told me that they would not refund this amount because 'You might ignored or did not read it first before you placed your request for the CD.) I tried to explain to him that I did not sign up for a membership in anything. This fell on deaf ears. From reading other complaints, I found another phone number (1-888-584-0883) to contact Eric Travis. I have called this number at various times throughout the day and night, up to 2:30am, and continuously receive a message that 'all circuits are busy.' Either this is a bogus number or the telephone company has a very serious problem.

Today, I checked my account again and found that Ideal Wealth Builder Club processed a debit to my account in the amount of $29.95. From reading other complaints, I found that this so call Club is somehow attached to Grant Funding Search. I have contacted my bank and canceled my debit card because who knows how many more of these fraudulent companies are attached to Grant Fund and they now have my number. I have also filed a discrepancy report with my bank. I did some research with the Secretary of State of Nevada and found that a Gregory Christensen is the Registered Agent on file. His address is in Las Vegas and not Henderson Nevada. I am continuing my search to get a phone number that is legitimate and to find any information that will be useful in case of a lawsuit.
