HERES HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY
My friend works for In deep services wich manages grantoneday and grants for you know as well as max colon' s customer service, and she told me about all the horrible calls she recieves all day. heres what she relayed to me: Now, when you sign up for the site it tells you that the fee for the cd resourse guide is 1.99 for shipping and handeling but what your actually signing up for is a 7 day subscription (same thing for max colon except its 15 days for the trial), and if you dont cancel within 7 days then your account gets slammed with a 94.89 charge each month. Now you may think that the charges are unauthorized but heres where they get you, in the terms and conditions it states that you have 7 days to cancel or you will be charged. so when you check the box consenting to the charges your giving your aproval. Also they have a third party listed as a google profits program by erika miller for 19.12. What THEY dont want you to know is that, that box is already checked so you automatically get charged for that as well if you dont notice its checked. Now if you mention the 19.12 they will refund you that on the spot. But as far as the 94.89 they tell you to contact the billing department thru email. Wich is bogus because she said that the customers dont even recieve the email more that half of the time . They tell you that if you dispute the charge with your bank or credit card company you cant get your money back but thats just because they dont want to go thru that lenthy process. If you ask for a manager all the customer service reps are told to say that they are the manager so you wont get anywhere there The head guys name is ryan. When you finally do reach the billing department, this department sends you a refund form to fill out...BUT...you cant fill it out untill 88 days of your initial sign up because of their policy. Dont fall for their scam. Let you card company know and contact the better bussiness bearou. Let them know that you will be contacting the California attorny general (find out the attny general information b4 you call) This company has found a legal way of frauding innocent people and should be shut down.

Unauthorized Account Withdrawals
I ordered a "Grant One Day" CD that is supposed to help you find government grants for various different things. It said that the cost is only $1.99 for shipping. They have since then taken the $1.99 out of my account and that same day they also took $19.12 out. About a week later they withdrew $94.89. This is a SCAM. I just now checked my checking account and tried to call them but they are closed. I will call tomorrow morning and hopefully get some sort of result. But from the looks of everybody else's complaints, I won't see results.

charges
My son went into there website one time onlyI never read there would be a fee for use of the site. Next thing I know because I let him use my card cuz he doesn't have an account. We didn't not see together the 7 day free trial. we were under the understanding we had the day we signed up. I would of never agreed to it if I would of known it would be almost 95.00. I am on very limited income (disability) so I would of never entered in to a contract like that. We haven't even used the sight since the day we signed u for it. I would of never known about this if it weren't for my bank. I'm very disappointed how companies can get away with the free trial then if you don't use their product they still bill you cause they feel they can. All I want is my money back because I feel we were mislead in this whole ordeal. Sad thing is I never use my credit card on foreign transactions because of this crap right here. It is sad that the take advantage of the american citizens who trust in them and want to be able to move forward in life.

Overcharge
Like many people I agreed to pay $1.99 for a grant information package. When I got my next bank statement I had been charged $94.89. I called the customer support line, explained my issue and was promplty hung up on. Luckily my bank took care of the problem.

Refund
First of all, you MUST cancel the card(not your account)that was used. If you don't, they will keep taking your money. Unfortunately, you have to deal with these people through email and phone calls. These are the steps I took to get my money back:
1. send an email (subject MUST be REFUND) to [email protected]
2. post complaints on the BBB and FTC sites. This helps, because these agencies send copies to the company and follow through to help get it resolved. I also sent a complaint to my local news station. Every bit helps. Make sure to tell them in the emails that you have filed these complaints, and they will get copies.
3.they will send you emails saying you have to wait 88 days for a refund. NO! Simply reply that their "services" are nothing but invalid websites and information that is not useful and you demand a full refund.
4.they will offer you half for a "settlement". You DO NOT have to accept this. Keep reminding them of the other agencies involved and demand a full refund.
5.you do not have to file a claim with your bank. This causes a "double refund"(both you and your bank trying to get the money)and slows down the process. I told them I filed a claim, but never did.
Please remember that all of the "customer service" idiots use fake names. I'm sure it's to avoid implication. The more you know about how this company works seems to make them nervous, so use it against them.

Fraud
I am sure we have all seen the ads on our computer called anything from 'Stimulus for Personal Use', to 'Get Out of Debt and Never Repay the Government', most fall under, if read closely, an organization called "Grant One Day". These people offer a $1.99 cd of how to apply for a grant through the government and promise these grants will never have to be repaid. Now, we all know the old adage you never get something for nothing, in this case, so very true!
3 days after receiving the cd, which was worthless, I received my credit card statement with 3 charges on it, with more to follow if I had not caught this. One was the original $1.99, the next was for $39.00, and finally the last was the monthly charge for $94.88. The terms and conditions which showed on the link I opened and agreeded upon was 3 lines basing itself on the original $1.99 for the cd, and nothing else! Don't be a fool as I was and fall for this! Even though I caught this and canceled my membership, with the promise of a refund of these charges, now I am contacted by the company and may only POSSIBLY get a refund after 88 days, if I follow procedures they described.
Point being, if you see a picture of our President with the caption FREE GRANTS...NEVER REPAY...don't fall for it and do not send for the cd with your credit card information!
